I just read the HT Coupon policy and it states that you can only double,triple 20 coupons per day ~ I was just under the impression it was 20 per purchase, like I could go to my car unload and come back and use some more. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't looking to abuse the program I was just going to use do 2 seperate purchases , BC my HT is 20 mins away and coming back the next day just doesn't make much sense. I had my coupons sorted for 2 different purchases, now I am going to have to go through my coupons and resort!

did you consider bringing another person with you to do another transaction? unless the rule says PER HH and they know everyone who lives in the same HH.

I have lots of HT's about 30 minutes away so I just go from store to store. But at times at the end of my trip if I'm short on time I'll go in one store twice or I've even done 20 items and then a separate order of 10 more. I really don't think they will hold you to the once per day. You could probably even aske the manager and he would say it's ok. I think right now EVERYONE understands the need to save gas.

Melissa- I have NEVER had any problem doing several transactions with 20 each. Just go to a different register. It does not load up on your card or anything. HTH

That's a bummer. Gas is getting so expensive, it doesn't make since to go to the same store two days in a row if it's far away! You eat up any savings from the coupons in gas money!

So does it track it on your vic card??? BC there are only 2 HT anywhere near me, one is 20 mins to the west of me and the other is 30 mins to the east of me, so multiple stores are out of the question..... hopefully i will be able to make my 2 seperate purchases... if not I will survive...... I guess! The second set was mainly snack stuff a little surprise for the kids and the hubby. i very rarely buy any JUNK food bc i feel like it is all so expensive, So I was thinking maybe i could rack up some good cookie and ice cream deals with the triples!

Last time I got my cart and put 3 baskets in it. Each basket was a separate order and I did 3 transactions back to back at the register. No one had a problem with it. And many times I've seen people do something like that, go unload to their car and go back in.

You can only use your VIC card 5 times a day. The other night I was out and had done 5 transactions at different stores and when I was doing my 6th it said my VIC card was not valid, so I had to use another phone number. Just keep track of how many transactions you make in total.

Thats a great idea with the baskets! That's why I've always done 20 and then ten becaue I was worried I'd get things mixed up. I AM SOOOOO EXCITED!!!

OK... I have not read all the replies.... so forgive me if I am repeating info.

As the Queen of HT shopping , I can share this info:

You can use your VIC card 5x per day.
You can do 20 coupons per transaction.
HT does not track how many coupons you use per day via your VIC card.

I actually thought that if you scanned your card more than once in one day that on the next order your items would actually be doubled instead of tripled, for some reason I think someone told me this once, can anyone verify?

No, even if you have used your card it will triple, just not more than 5 different trips in one day.

No that is not the way it is........you may use card up to 5 x per day and it will still triple!! HTH........
