Good morning ,

I am trying to figure out what I need to buy to get the free M&M cooler. About 3 weeks ago, I picked up a raincheck 20 bags of the M&M's - BOGO. The M&M's are $3.49 a bag. I only have the one raincheck. I asked three different clerks at CVS and they have no idea.

If I use my raincheck, I need to buy $20 of M&M's to get the free cooler. Do I need to buy 6 bags or 12 bags? I am not sure if they count the total before or after the raincheck. If this was a regular purchase (with no raincheck, I would understand), I am not sure if the register knows which items are raincheck items.

I think it depends on how they ring them up, if they price adjust so the extra ones are free after ringing them up then you should only need 6. But if they just don't ring up the free ones you'll need 12. Does that make sense?

When I used my raincheck for the M&Ms, the store manager rang them up $1.75 each [[so they were all half price]], so if your cashier does that, you'd need the 12.

I just bought these with my raincheck and the first was rang up 2.50 and the second one rang up $0 so you will need 16 bags and you will pay $20.

It probably varies by store. When I've had a raincheck (kids listerine) they rang it up at $2.99 and then put a "coupon" in for 2.99. This way would actually benefit you. I would ask how the cashier rings up bogo rainchecks first.

The ad says that it is mailed in 8-10 weeks. It must just go off the address linked to your card, since it says recieve automatically.

Ok, I'm still lost. I don't get an ad in my paper, and not sure what ad this is from.

So, If you buy $20.00 worth of m &m candy, you automatically get a cooler in the mail?

I think it's actually a picnic basket. All the info is on page 2 of the ad for 5/4 - 5/10. Buy $20 of listed items (m&ms, Mars singles, Mars minis like snickers... and more) and get a free basket mailed to you in 8-10 weeks. I think you need the address linked to your card to be up-to-date, since it states that it's mailed automatically!

look at the second page of this ad..that is the m&m deal..it is just like the heart health kit they sent out a few months ago..if you buy $20 worth they will send it to the address on your cvs card..

at my store they ring up each item half off for a bogo raincheck..

Are there any pictures in the store or a better description of the cooler? I don't want to go out of my way to do this and then get a cooler that only holds a couple of sodas.

It looks like a little lunch box to me, it's cute. It's probably the kind that will hold maybe 6 sodas. I love an excuse to buy chocolate so I'll try for one.

i was thinking the same thing that it looks like one of the lunchbox size coolers..but i could not find anything about it..it has plates behind it so i dont know if it comes with the plates like most picnic baskets do or not..
