DH asked me a legitimate question when I told him we had to go to CVS for the hidden toothbrush deal... How do we find out about these? Does a manager leak the info or does someone accidentally buy the item and report back? Or is there someone who buys potential hidden items each week to see if they get a hit? ... just trying to figure it out and I didn't really have a good answer for him so I figured I'd educate myself

usually someone buys something and it prints out the ECB unexpectedly.
Or sometimes it is advertised in the store display regionally and it happens to work nationwide.

Another way the word gets out is the CVS employees who frequent our boards. They will see a special deal pop up unexpectedly during their shift and report back about it. Gotta love our couponing CVS employees!
