When I was checking out at Safeway yesterday I noticed a small coupon book and on the cover it said: because you care about the environment enjoy over $40 worth of savings on earth-friendly products. I grabbed only 3 of them and might go get a few more. They all expire on 5/26/08
I hope they have these at all the Safeway stores.

You are lucky to have received them. Most stores have been pretty tight with them. These were being given out to customers who purchased any Safway Organics item. They have a lot of nice coupons in them.

I managed to pick up a few more and gave a few to my dad since he can't get out of the house very often with my mom being so sick with cancer. I used the coupon for a free reusable grocery bag after buying $50.00 worth of groceries and got a free very small Ben & Jerrys that they sell for $.75 and what I thought was really worth getting the coupon books for was the free o.b. tampons 18 count and they are $4.89 a box. I am so glad I made this discovery but wished they were more available at other stores. My 3 year old son was happy with his ice cream.

Like posted above- they were originally handed out with an Organics brand purchase- I think it was part of a promo a few weeks ago. The remaining ones might be just handed out- as the coupons are only good for this month. I will be checking at my store to see if they have more- I already used the frees out of the one I got!

I think if the stores have any left- they are just giving you a handful of them- as they are only good until the 26th. The Ben & Jerry's and OB tampons are free.
