My last trip to CVS, I did 3 seperate orders. THough I did it because I didn't want a $25+ ECB. So I broke it down into smaller orders. I did make sure that if anyone was in line that I would go to the end.

Hi rori, I did just that last week. I usually only use my card, and didn't realize hubby and I had different cards until I put his number into the CVS website to update my info(like I said, I thought they were the same numbers and I just grabbed his keys for the number instead of getting my card out of my wallet, thats what I get for being lazy!!!)and received a $4/$20 on his card, so then I just HAD to use his card and my card at the same time. The cashier didn't really bat an eye(I did this at a store that isn't too coupon friendly either)Some people use alot of different cards, I would just confuse myself, so I'm am going to try and finish up the ecb's from his card and stick to mine. I'm not sure I really even answered your question??? I would go ahead and do it. I just told them one was my hubbys card and one was mine, which was true. hth's |

I've used seperate cards at the same store when the ECB are really great. (DH's card, my card, and my sister's card) The cashier that I go to at my closest store doesn't care, someone else in the store might. I typically use 1 card at each store. I usually only pull out the 2nd card for "free after ECB" items I need or diaper deals.

I do it all the time. If the cashier says anything... which they usually don't because they know me at that store... I just tell them it's my DH's card. It's registered with the same address so you can't really do any more deals with it now that a lot of them are one per household. They are fine with it.. only comes up when I accidently hand them the wrong ECB for a card and the register beeps.

It depends on your store's attitude about multiple cards. I have a couple of stores that don't really care. They appreciate that I'm helping out their sales #'s, as long as I'm not going crazy and taking everything (which I don't). Some stores take the 'per household' limits very seriously, though.

I use two cards back to back sometimes. After I do the first deal, i put my card back in the holder. Then, I pulled the other card out. Unless they are really paying attention or look at the names, they would never realize that I'm not using the same card. I did almost give the cashier the wrong card one day, but I just pulled it back and said something like, "Oops, my hubby's card." She didn't care - she even acted like I'd wasted my breath by explaining. ha.

One of the stores I go to don't like it at all if they find out I have two cards (I've gotten caught a couple of times after giving wrong ecb's) I try and just use the one card in a store if I can help it so I don't get into trouble. |

I don't think CVS really cares if you have multiple cards. I had two and didn't realize it. I lost my card about a year ago and have been just giving them my phone number when I shop. Well I found my card yesterday and when I went to buy something using a ECB it came back with a name mismatch. They accpted the ECB it and said to call customer service about the card. When I called they said I could keep both and use both if I wanted, but I ended up merging the two cards. |
