FYI

So since the craze is going around about BPA I called up Avent about their bottles, they basically said that the amount of BPA in their bottles is in regulation with the FDA. So I was like well what am I supposed to do I have all these bottles and dont feel comfortable using them. She said she would send me a sample of a BPA free Avent bottle if that would help me not feel so horrible towards Avent.

I told her that it couldnt hurt. I got an Avent Sippy Cup in the mail today-- I am not sure but I think its worth 6-7 bucks easy, but bottomline, it was worth 5 minutes of my time!!!

I called avent today and expressed my concerns with the BPA bottles. She told me that they were fine and they don't offer any trade in program. She told me that they offered a free sample of the Sippy Cup at one time, but no longer offer that deal or any coupons for the BPA free Sippy Cups. So don't waste your time with Avent, just switch to Dr. Brown's or another company that cares about our kids.
