So, here I am on "vacation" in NYC with no coupons, but a view of both WAGS and CVS from my hotel room window. Surely this must be considered torture? To make matters worse, my suitcase weighed 47 pounds, so if I add much more, I'll have to pay $25 when I fly home!

But, I DO have $10 RR burning a hole in my pocket. It expires on the 4th, which is before I get home. What should I do with it?

I would go use it and put it in you carryon! Have you already gotten all of the monthly freebie deals?

Grab today's paper and use some of those Qs to take advantage of the Speed Stick or Softsoap specials!! You can always put these in your carryon or purse..or better yet..go to the post office buy a parcel post box for less than $5 and mail yourself your goodies!!

if it don't fit the parcel box, use the 8.95 priority box for more stuff to send to yourself. in my experience, this arrives as quickly as 2 days.

I just got back from vacation. I made Wags rounds 3 times, 2 stores. I cannot resist! Of course, we were driving and had room in the van. I really was only gonna go once, but they weren't done unpacking warehouse so I had to go back the next day. On my second trip they had the Aveeno I needed, but I forgot some Q's. So I had to go back once more to use up a $10 RR, I couldn't let it expire! I "splurged" with the RR (meaning I didn't roll it...much). I got a DVD for the kids (birthday?), 4-roll Scott TP (to finish rebate, already had one) and some 3/$1 candy. Total was .75, all tax. I think it is against the law to let good RR go bad!

If you don't want to take FAR stuff home you can always just buy some snacks and drinks. It sure beats the prices from the mini fridge. Hope you have a great time in NY, enjoy your vacation!

Careful about putting any kind of liquid, gels, pastes or aerosols in your carry-on. TSA wont allow it if it is more than travel size. You will need to put it in your checked bag or they will take at security!
