This was the worst trip ever. I went to a store I do not like to go to much because they always make me feel like I am doing something wrong. The cashier looks at me all the time and says " more coupons, I just don not know where you get theses from" and I always tell her.. email, pritable, etc... and she rolls her eyes. Well today same thing happenned and I was using the 4/20 beauty. well it wouldnt go through and one of the managers said to call. When they called I waited patiently with my 16 month old DD until they put me on the phone with someone, she told me I did not recieve this coupon, while back and forth between me and the cranky cashier, I had said to her time and time again " if this is going to take long, I reallly cant't deal with this, I have a baby with me, I can call you when I get home." Finally she said there is no record that you were emiled this coupon, you can not use it. Well I WAS sent right from CVS this coupon. I told her right then I wnt a phone # and a persons name, I am embarrassed and appaled right now. The cahier already thinks I am using fake coupons, and this is making her smile. I was given a phone # and no name. I called and told them the story, of course the woman was quick to appologize, but I told her I don't want an appology from you, I want a phone call to that particular cashier, using my name, and telling her that it was CVS mistake and that my coupon was legit. She assured me that tis would be taken care of and that I would recieve a letter in the mail. I was just about in tears in that store today!!

This is poop. I think we should do something for youa bout this. maybe I should call them too or I should write them too about this and tell them this is poop. It's making me upset.
I see how CVS is treating their customers now. Sending us fake coupons and accusing customers of them.

I don't get it. Is this coupon from CVS or not? And if it is, why don't the stores know about it? It's not fair to you or any of us. I hate it when they treat you like a criminal. You know, if it weren't for the ECB, I'd never shop at CVS, so they should be happy that they have that program. I'm so sorry you had to go through this! It just isn't right!

It is an e-mail they sent ~ I got it and DH got it.

They are exactly the same even thought I was very careful to keep mine with my card, yada, yada.

I think I had the same cashier as you ~ 2 different stores!

The first one she goes through the is this your card thing. And finally puts it through. Then she gets the Skin Effects beauty book coupon and it doesn't go through.

She finally gets both through and I do the quick math in my head , sub-total - mfr coupons for last so I can decide what ECB's to use. Well it takes off tax and puts me under by $.03 once the mfr come off. I had a Viva paper towels I didn't think I could use because my total dropped $.90 with my $15 ECB. So I add on an Reese's for $.50 and it and $.03 tax so I am positive $.50 and give her the Viva. With a big sigh she scans it and announces to the customers behind me that "she is walking out with all that stuff and didn't have to pay for it".

I have cashiers that are cheerleaders ~ she was saying it as if I was stealing! I announced that I had paid with a $15 ECB that I had earned on a previous purchase.

She wasn't even going to hand me my register tape until she saw that there were ECB's at the bottom. I saw her start to add and I took my tape from the register and left. I had $17 in ECB's on the tape so she really would have been mad if she had added those up!

Then the next store the lady kept doing the "what more coupons" and "even more coupons" thing.

Honestly, do they think we would shop there if they didn't pay us?!? At least not with attitudes like that!

Is this a game for them? They send fake coupons and give free items and in return, they get to humiliate CVS customers.

I'm kind of afraid to use that coupon now. A few stores already watch me like a hawk I don't need to give them anymore reasons to think I have time to sit at home and make fake CVS coupons.

Personally I think that if they continue to mistreat their customers, they will be getting a bad rep through word of mouth. Word of mouth sure does spread quickly and in this day's economy they should be kissing every customer that comes through their door. I'm with you Angel if it weren't for the ECB I would never think to go there because thier prices are really too high!

OMG on the "stealing" what kind of person would go around saying that. I would have quickly said, funny CVS is going to get paid back and then get 8 cents for me to use the coupons so how is that stealing? As you can tell by some of my posts, I am very vocal and don't let anyone intimidate me when it comes to using a couponl.

I love CVS, but lately whenever I venture from my home store I have had issues. I will continue to shop there but I also am not afraid to call Caremark - thansk to other posts on AFC I know they are listening.

I was nervous going to use mine. But I printed the original e-mail too showing my name/e-mail address too. Not that that proves anything but to at least show I got the Q. Mine beeped, but she didn't say anything and just pushed it thru.

I'm sorry they treated you that way. I hope they get this fixed. It's sure taking all the fun out of shoping at CVS lately.

I've given up caring what anyone at CVS thinks of me, don't get me wrong I'm always very friendly and polite with them but I just get the vibe that they think I'm trying to pull one on them.
Why is it that we can use unauthorized printables without a problem, but the ones they legitimately send to us don't work? Ahhh CVS....

Me too, I know when I walk into one store and see "the Happiness Guru" cashier that I will be given grief. I could care less what he thinks, or anyone else. I KNOW I am not doing anything wrong and couponing and CVS helps me support my family. So buggers to him and his crummy attitude.

I did the same thing, but haven't tried to use the coupon yet. I was planning on going today but did not feel well. Anyway, I mentioned in another post that this happened to me with the last "beauty x/xx coupon". I have 2 cards registered to the same email address. So, when I get a coupon now, I have to play a guessing game at which card it belongs to. They are now linking the email coupons to card numbers, not to track who uses it, but to limit who uses it... kind of like the old ECBs. Remember, when they had 5 digit #s, starting with 4-xxxx below the barcode? The cashier could just punch in those codes as they did the old email coupons if the barcode was messed up but, if you tried using an ECB like that from another card, it would beep because the card you were using did not have "access" to the coupon. Hope that makes sense! Anyway, all I can say is : sometimes to CVS. However, the deals are still great so I won't stop just yet. I have stopped going to one store unless I have to go there, due to a very very abnoxious cashier... but I have my backups!

I'm sorry to hear your experience. I have been having the same problem here in IL. I've been told that they(CVS) is paying me to shop. I just say, "Yeah, I will be reporting my experience to them as soon as I get home too" with a /. Just watch their expression then.

I've been thinking about this. We are quick to get mad at CVS. Maybe we need to get mad at the people with 4, 5, 6, 7, and more cards. The ones that snatch and grab all the merchandise, the ones that try to stack coupons, the ones trying to earn hundreds of ECB's a month, the ones that are making managers questions all transactions.

Is it fair to the honest customer? NO! But the dishonest people, and they post the tactics on the internet and the ones causing many of these problems.
