Did Rainbow quit there doubling on Wed. program? I don't go there too often but I thought that they had this, at least last year they did.

Also spotted a good deal for next week. They have the Kraft single serve salad dressing for 2/$4. At Cub this week they had $1/1 coupons on a display. Also when you buy 2 of these at the store you get $1 catalina off of your next trip. So for 2 packages you would pay $1. Not a bad deal.

You really are out of the loop. They quit doubling like 3+ months ago. I haven't been there in eons.

Yeah, it's such a bummer that they quit doubling. I had just started couponing and was getting into a great flow going there on Wednesdays and then taking those gas coupons to BP and filling up. Then they started only doing one Wednesday per month and after a few months of that it just stopped.
I also have not been there in a while, but may start again for their organic stuff... or maybe I'll just go to the Farmers Market and continue my unofficial boycott of Rainbow.

I've boycotted Rainbow unless they have such a terrific deal that I just can't pass up. I'm still waiting for that deal.

I was just perusing the CUB and Rainbow flyers and it looks like I am going to visit CUB this week for some Organic stuff (I have decided to buy more Organic). They have some decent sales, and a coupon for a free reusable bag. Rainbow? Yes, they have organic stuff 25% off, but I guess I cannot comparison shop since THEY DON"T LIST THE PRICES!!! Grrr...

How come the boycott on Rainbow? Just curious. I don't get there very often, but found some good oranges last week. Not that they were necessarily the cheapest, but they have been large and very tasty!

Yes, I'm also curious why we boycott Rainbow? I am pretty new to couponing in general, I've mainly been using it for diapers so far and I never go there for diapers. Does anyone know if any grocery store in the twin cities does doubling? I had only noticed Rainbow, I was surprised to find out (through you!) that they stopped that

I wonder if it is just certain Raninbows. I know the one on Robert in West St Paul no longer doubles. I'm joining the unofficial boycott now that I've found a GREAT Cub (thanks rach).
