At least according to my (usually loveable) CVS Manager. I tried to use my BOGO with the whipped foundation and the True Blend "face makeup", trying to get the whipped free (no price limit) as a face product. Well, he proceeds to read the bottles and see that the whipped is labeled as "foundation", but the true blend as "face makeup" and proceeds to tell me that he can't give me the "foundation" for free, because it is the "foundation".

Obviously, I need to find either a woman manager or a drag queen...

I think I am just going to do two whipped this week and use only one BOGO and then wait until next week when there is the CVS BOGO...Grrr!

I knew you ladies would get a kick out of that! Of course the cashier apologized, because she knew I was right but the system was requiring her to have a manager's input for the coupon.

Perhaps CVS and the makeup company are in cohorts with one another. Perhaps they are saying that foundation is that which is put on the face to lay the foundation for other makeups. Then you apply face makeup of whatever venue you desire - liquid (?????), whipped, powdered, mineral, paste, glue, stick, bomb - whatever. But foundation is what is not suppose to go on the face by itself in that it is the foundation. And as a foundation you know it must have something a'top of "hit." Now, ladies, do you understand the rationale of the CVS gentlemen managers and the makeup coupon printers when they dis-ting-whish between foundation and face makeup. Of course, you do.

Now let's all go out and buy our foundation that we lay atop our faces without any further dressing the face except for a little eye liner, mascara, eye shadow, rouge, blush, and maybe a dash of sparkle.

I have one CVS with a silly manager like that. I tried to use a black and white coupon and he said it was a photo copy and it was obvious because it was in black and white.

I rarely shop at that CVS because of that guy (not the only silly thing he has done)
