I tried this deal this evening (around 5pm)... just wanted to do a "tester" since tomorrows signs were up. I got the BOGO deal, but no ECBS Oh, well.... looks like I'm getting up at the arse-crack of dawn for some serious CVS shopping!

I tried this with a bag of almond ones and peanut butter ones. I got them BOGO and she said I had to buy the ones out of the display which I think were the cherry and dark chocolate ones. It made me mad too because it did say ANY.

I would believe that was the problem if this didn't work for all of us a few months back (maybe february) when they had receive $3/wyb 2 M&M's for a monthly deal~~then one week they had BOGOF and voila~~you were paying $3.49 for 2 bags and getting $3 back. Maybe it's the price point change, or maybe it's just very bad advertising on the part of CVS. I must have re-read that sign 10 times and then just left because I had a feeling it wouldnt work.

I also bought them a few months back and recieved the ecb's, so I understand your being skeptical, but it's the only thing that explains it. Even those who purchased the "correct" flavors did not get ecb's this week so it must be something besides flavor which leaves price. The last time we all did this they were still ringing up regular price, we just got every 2nd one free in the end. Presumably they figured out what happened last time and found a way to prevent it from happening again this time around.

Okay it was bugging me, so I called cs about it, he acted like he had no clue what I was talking about, that the m&ms were not an ecb deal....

BUT ~ would 4 bags work?!? The register would count bag 1 and bag 3 at full price so therefore it would be "buying" 2.

Make sense? I know when deals are $ amounts and it is BOGO then they count the cost of the first item.

I got 12 bags tonight, and in return got $18 ECB

This was at 3 different stores, so 4 bags/store
