| Anyone try to avoid certain cashiers?
Hi ![]() I just wanted to rant a little....I have been cvsing for a couple months now (and loving it) and all the cashiers are nice and helpful and take all of my coupons after ringing up my order.....except one. For whatever reason she is very rude when seeing that I have coupons and states that she has to see EACH and every coupon BEFORE ringing me up. Then she goes into the process of ringing and item up, then the matching coupon, then ringing another up and then the matching coupon etc... Tonight I had to go there for some meds and picked up a few other items, and she was the only one working at the counter. ((great)) Of course she was rude, and did the same thing with the coupons, and also would not accept my buddy soap coupons because the "the picture of it was not on there" even though it clearly states any buddy product. Then I gave her my welcome coupon of 4/20 and she was very rude with that as well, and said she never saw anything like that before. ![]() Anyone else avoid certain cashiers? |

i think everyone has seen at least one cashier they could do without...i think most of the time its not even us they are mad about..its just that they are unhappy people..so i never take it personally..i mean cause if a person really gets mad about coupons..there is something wrong..

I have a few that I like to avoid or would at least like to avoid if it's possible @ CVS. I have a cashier and CSM @ Target I like to avoid because they do the picture match up. Don't know where "ANY" and the picture mean this item only. I think this CSM is very coupon uninformed. He tried to tell me that the $.08 gets reimbursed to me by applying towards my tax total. I sure hope the Mary that you avoid at Target QB is not at the ones I go to. LOL

kristi, please tell me that was a dream you had? ![]() now wake up ![]() I mean a few/several/most employees at stores are not as informed about coupons as we are. They aren't that big of a deal to them. It's like if I got a memo from target to reprice all the sku's of some product (see right there I don't even know what I'm talking about).I don't know,I might could wing it possibly, but to just make that up and...what a minute, did he look you in the eye as he was saying that? Well,I guess I do remember last year when all of a sudden I turned into the retailer on the kmart deal and the mfg. coupon that specifically told every kmart employee how to scan the gift card all of a sudden turned into a rebate. I wasn't there I shouldn't question the guys integrity, but his being uninformed made my night. THAT WAS HILARIOUS ![]() ![]() |

The snapshot of NO NO cashiers is a gr8t idea!! Unfortunately I highly doubt their meanie mean faces would pose ![]() One day, they will sit back and wonder if being so hateful was worth it when they are alone and sad.

I have one that I avoid, I dont even have to go in to the store to find out whether or not she's there. I was in the parking lot one day, and she pulled up in her car - now all I have to do is drive by, look for her car, and if she's there......I keep driving! |

YEP! One older lady looks over and over and over my coupons. She's not very friendly either!! I avoid going there when I know she's working!

| I doubt they would show up in the picture. They are probably like vampires. This woman probably got in trouble for taking an expired coupon one day and has taken her job "very seriously" ever since. She was probably the type we love who will just shut up and scan before some manager got a hold of her.

Most of the cashiers are very coupon-friendly in the CVS's I go to. I have encountered two so far that scrutinize every single coupon and reject legit coupons. I visit CVS 2-3 times a week and hate to waste a trip, so I will just improvise my shopping plan and make it rejection-proof. It is like playing games with kids. ![]()

I'm with ya sister, there is a guy at CVS that makes me quake when I see him on duty. This CVS is a newer store and not very busy. They are usually well stocked and never have more than 2-3 other people in the store, it is very clean and organized, never any boxes or crates in the way.So I love to go there, unless I see "the happiness guru" as I have nicknamed him. He seems to take pleasure in scouring over every little letter of every coupon, he turns them over and holds them up to the light, once he even smelled one (????)I am waiting for him to taste one. He often rejects coupons for silly reasons, he refused my 5/15 because he said it was a copy. He loves to picture match, and if one beeps, well that just makes his day! When I see him there, i just reduce my plan to foolproof items/coupons. I guess since he hadn't had any fun with me lately he started scrutinizing my ECB's. When the new ECB's printed out he WROTE HIS NAME ON THEM (????? again) I thought I would ask the manager about that the next time I go in there and see her. |

So far, I only have one that I try to avoid. Not that I do anything wrong, but she always scrutinizes my coupons. The last round of Dove shampoo coupons that were out before this current batch were for shampoo, conditioner, or treatments/styling aids. She actually tried to tell me that the coupon was not meant to be for the mousse and hairspray I was getting. Umm, if those aren't styling aids, then what is? She had to ask the manager (who was a man! !) if I could use the coupon for the products I was buying. She is not very friendly and I have actually walked in and saw her working and walked right back out to go to a different store before. Just wasn't in the mood to deal with her that day.

Some of the cashiers are just mean spirited. They don't like their jobs, people, or anything. It does not matter what they do for a living they will not be happy. Even before I stared CVS'ing, everytime my fiancee or I went to a certain store, there was always a mean cashier there. She was hateful to everyone without discrimination. I hope I don't act like that when I grown up. |

I have one between my two local stores, and one at the next town over. This guy makes me feel like a crook every time I use any coupons and/or ECB. I should say tries to, since I know I'm not a crook! And don't get me started on my local Safeway. |

Thankfully the cashiers that I try to avoid are leaving or have left the stores that I go to. A funny on one though. We were selling GS cookies in front of a Walmart and my daughter just about had a cow as this lady walked past us. I hid my face as I didn't even want to say hi to her. My daughter said that she had nightmares after seeing her again at the cookie booth. This lady is a manager and she just looks like she is going to bite your head off. Thank God she isn't at my favorite store anymore. And yes, I always try to kill them with kindness the first couple of times. After a couple of weeks, I know it can't be a bad day anymore.

I have one at my local CVS... KRISTEN.... ahhh... geez I can't even walk in the store with out her making noises & mumbling. I went Sunday to do the febreze & sunsilk deals & she scrutinized EVERY Q & for the one that was buy a noticeable, get a free air effects she only took of $2.45... now I know it's only 5 cents but if she keeps doing it the $ adds up. She refused my $4/20, saying it was copied, blah, blah, blah... I've called the manager & they said they spoke about her attitude but nothing has changed ...emailed corp...lets see what happens next...sorry, got on a rant there...

I really don't have any cashiers I try to avoid - but there are a couple who could carealess what kind of coupons I use - I always use legit ones but you know how sometimes they nitpick - so I like to go to the ones that never question anything..... even if I have to stand in a longer line for the cashier I prefer. But I have to say too that I've dealt w/2 managers at my store and now when I walk in they smile and say hi. It's nice but for some reason it makes me feel like I'm being watched and known for my coupons.
