I wrote my plan here earlier today. Did something similar to it with little adjustments. And ECB did not print.....

Transaction #1 I bought

huggies pull up
huggies surpreme

both jumbo. they are both $8.99 each

along with

EB toe separator (2)
and EB gift bag (2)


EOB ECB did print.

At the bottom of receipt, it says:

essence, buy 3 get 5 eb
quantity toward this reward 9
quantity needed to earn reward 3



baby, spend 25 get 10 eb
amount toward this reward 17.98
amount needed to earn reward 7.02


all good. here's where it gets strange.

Transaction #2

Huggies surpreme jumbo $8.99

eb toe separator (3)

along with other things.



neither baby or EOB ECB did not print.

And at the bottom of receipt it says:

essence, buy 3 get 5 eb
quantity toward this reward 2
quantity needed to earn reward 1

Baby, spend 25 get 10 eb
amount toward this reward 8.99
amount needed to earn reward 16.01

What.....?

other ECB deals I did from previous transactions were erased on receipt #2 also.


not to mention how come only two of my EOB toe separators counted towards the deal on transaction #2? They were all same.

It is as my whole ECB reset between transaction #1 and #2.

They are both on same card. 100% sure. I even used the ECB printed from transaction #1 on transaction #2.

How long did you wait between doing the two transactions? Sometimes the computer doesn't have time to update, so the second transaction "overwrites" the first. You could try to buy something else to see if the ECB's print, or wait a couple days and call Customer Service. HTH!

No. It has never happened to me and I've done 2 or 3 transactions back to back...
Is it a different card? I'm sorry, I don't know. I'd call on it.

It really looks like it was a different card. Do you have more than one? Hmm, strange!

ETA: Is it possible the cashier scanned the store's card, like one that they keep on the counter to use for customers without a card, instead of your card?

Thanks ladies. It's def. same card.

I have done many back to back transaction myself and never had this problem. TIme difference between those two transaction were 20 min.

most strange thing is that rest of the ECB deals seemed to have gotten erased between first and second transaction becuse second transaction does not show previous ECB deals like covergirl etc.

Def. same card. I even used the ECB I earned from transaction #1 on transaction #2. (did not beep or anything.)

ECB number printed on the receipt are same too so the casheir did not accidently scan someone else's card neitehr.

Although ECB history seemed to have reset between transaction #1 and transaction #2, Extra care card balance as of 3/31 record are both same. (year to date savings and spring 2008 spending)

I thought about casheir scanning someone else's card, NJmom, but both receipt match the Extre care card number and balance history, so I do not think that's the case...

Darn, I thought I had hit on the problem! That totally stinks that they didn't print for you and messed up your deals totals! It's too bad the history didn't reset until AFTER you finished them up.

I do not know what happened. It looks like it reset.... I wonder if I buy something else, ECB start printing, but I doubt I will get that lucky... I hope the manager will fix this problem for me tomorrow.

i might do that too since I am going back anyways. I don't know if they will get it if I try to explain the buy 3 get 10 ecb deal with three 99 cents toe separators.

i would go back tomorrow and buy a pack of gum or something and see what the receipt says then..if all the stuff is still gone i would just call CS..they might can tell you what happened..weird..i have never had this happen either..
