My kroger did not take them this weekend...said I couldn't use coupon for more than item on sale for..asked if she could adjust coupon to price she said no...

Got them anyways...good size to throw in the purse...

I've had varied success. One cashier adjusted it to 50 cents and that doubled. 2 other cashiers just pushed them through and then another cashier asked the manager and he said to adjust it to 50 cents "grocery" so it wouldn't double. It was too stressful to keep trying to use them so I used the rest of my Q's on the CVS Excedrin deal.

It worked for me on 4 $2 coupons used in the same transaction . The overage helped pay for the items that I was buying without coupons.

It has worked for me both times I have tried, 14 excedrin total. I didn't get anything I wouldn't buy anyway, just in case. I know overage isn't a right, but I would be upset if they wouldn't adjust the coupon to $1.00. What was their reasoning for that?

Did not work for me. First time he cashier adjusted my Q to a dollar. Second time I got two of them and it worked. Still a money maker because it went towards the 5$/10. since they were out of almost everything!

Went through the U Scan forgetting a cashier has to scan the coupons. She handed me back one $2 Excedrin coupon saying she'd use the 1st $2 coupon towards the 2 $1 Excedrins I bought. The computer prompted her by saying something like, "Exceeds value." So, I got $2 towards my Excedrin which was 50c x 2 so got $1 overages. I DON'T FEEL BAD!!! They take off $5 wyb 10, but I still have to pay tax on the Gatorade. I'm spoiled here in Texas, coupons take off tax.
