I think I read on rebate that it won't be honored if the customer used the coupon to purchase it. but if you need a mater, getting it for free with coupon is a great deal anyways.

DH Mom uses the Ascensia I told her about the other deals she says she doesn't use the Contour one just plain Ascensia & those strips are very expensive....
since she is diagnosed as pre-diabetic none of the Medicare qualified programs for supplies applies to her but yet she has to test all the time just like if she was diabetic!

for some its not really free because they have to pay taxes on the pre coupon amount. I'm not sure how CVS computes their taxes.

I've also read that the ones processing the rebates at Bayer have caught on those blacking out all the coupons to hide the coupon used and thus deny the rebates (some are lucky if the processor don't mind). I think it is okay to black out the CC info part which is understandable, but when one submits a CRT with everything marked with a Sharpie to hide all coupons used, that raises a red flag. As mentioned, it may still be worth it to risk for .41 stamps but if one is buying it for purposes of rebate, think again if you are paying tax on it because if you don't get the rebate, you lost money.

I may be wrong but why not get the monitor and other items you would need that would give you a total somewhere around $60 or more. Use the $30 Q and pay for the other items out of pocket. In that way you will get the free monitor and items you needed for free after you receive your MIR.

I have 2 coupons, planning on doing 2 different transactions. This is my plan. $30 monitor, 15 worth of easter/stuff. Use a $5/15 coupon and a $4/20(my store states I have to have $35 worth of stuff to use one of each soo....)$45 worth of merchandise-30 monitor coupon, I have a few glade coupons bogo -.99, maybe a couple of hams, I still have a few $ from a gift card so I should have no actual OOP(less than $5 either way) and I will make a few EBC's off the easter stuff and $1 on the glade! so all in all I think this will work pretty good. I have gotten 4 of the $9.99 bayer checks(just got one today!) I did get a letter for one but my husband called the number and said, hey we paid, even though we got the EBC's back(he left that part out), so to my knowledge I have received all that I sent in! I guess I just lucked out. Good luck everyone!

I Got A Denial Letter Stating No Rebate Since The Reciept Was Altered. ( I Blacked Out What My Total Was And Coupon S I Used. So I Could Resubmitte It With A Non Altered Receipt. So I Might Do That Since I Got One Today And Explain That Cvs Has Extra Bucks And I Paid With Those. Or Might Just Donate It To A Worthy Cause
