I've accumulated 65 ECB's, mainly from last week. Is it a good thing NOT to get it too high so you can use them before they expire? I'm not brave enough to try and roll them into a GC just yet.

For those of you experienced ladies...how many ECB's do you usually like to keep on hand?

As many as possible! If that answers your question. I would say as many as you can get! What the heck right? As long as we are playing by their rules....why not try to accumulate as many as possible?

First question is how many cards do you have?

I have 5 cards and usually have close to $20 on each. One card got down to $8 in ECB's (a $3 & $5) but today I managed to roll the]at one into $20 (a $5, $6 and $9)

I don't like to get my amounts too high ~ like if you buy your limit of Colgate which is 5 you would get a $14.95 one. I would rather get a TP, TB and a few other items each time I go. This is because when you get to the register and your total $9 ~ If you only have a $12 and $15 ECB then you have to buy more stuff in a hurry or pay OOP. The smaller ones are much easier to use, you could do a $6 & $3 or a $4 & $5.

But I know someone who "back in the day..." had over $700 in one single ECB! Yes, she had to spend it all at once!!!

ooohhh.....multiple cards. I was thinking it was all on one. I have 2 cards with about 40 ECBs total, so I guess that's not too bad.

oh- whoo was that, was it Barb? that had $800 to spend in one shot- they called ahead and told the store what was happening. It was back when you would buy and 48 hours later they would print- I think it was the unlimited life fitness chews, wasn't it?? when they had the glitch and they were working on the small 3 packs or something- wow, the days of unlimited ECB's, I remember them fondly.

Well I used to have over a $100 between 3 cards and all that clearance perfume and cologne got be down to nothing. Or so I thought. Then I found like $9 in ECBs on my desk. So I've been rebuilding and right now I prob have some where between $40-$50 on 2 cards. I still have one more that I need to get ECBs back on but that one isn't really a necessity. I'm kind of a more the merrier when it comes to ECBs. I never have a problem spending them off no matter how big or small they are. But I never had $700 to spend in a day either.

I have 2 cards. Last week was a great money maker for me. And I'm getting the hang of it also so I think I'm getting better at all this!

I can't imagine having to spend $700 in one day!!

Wow....I have two cards but usually only use one. The most ECB I have ever had was about $40. I don't go every week just because of time constraints. But I try to never run out.....except yesterday when I had to use $30 that were expiring!!

I have a little over $100 in ecb's right now between 3 cards. I will using some tomorrow night though...LOL.

My thing is, you use um'...cause your always gonna make them back....then some...I always do!

I was down to a $4 and a $1 today and I spent the $1 and got back $9.98, $4, and a $1. That is the most I have had in a while.

Need to get back into it!

Wish I could find the be fine and the lypsl only lucky to have found one of those and also the vitamins would be nice!

Yes, it was back in the day where you bought something on Sunday and Tuesday the ECB's would print.

Monica and hubby had a big date night! They headed out for dinner and a movie and ended up with hundreds and hundreds of tums! The Tums were on clearance and for under a dollar and paying $3.50 each in ECB. Back then there were no quantity limits and whatever you purchased in a 24 hour period for that deal would print all on one ECB.

I remember how shocked she was when we informed her that she was going to have a HUGE ECB ~ she hadn't considered that (it was also back in the day before most people had multiple cards!)

She did really well and was able to roll some to GC's, bought paper supplies for 6 months, all the ECB deals that she could roll the ECB's over to (which was close to $100 but in smaller chunks ) she bought a bunch of food and other things they needed.

She got enough in GC's that it was more than the Tums cost her and then she had lots of future ECB's to work with and she got lots and lots of stuff her family needed and would have bought somewhere.

But it was a shoppers-hall-o-fame moment for sure! I remember having a $54 shortly after that and my manager was shocked and said he never saw one so big! I laughed and told him about Monica! He said "Oh, I would have broken down that one for her" I guess it was a procedure they "could" do but preferred not to because it required paperwork!

I have 4 cards (family of ten, 4 of us are over age 14), and use three primarily. I get antsy if any of the main cards gets under about 40. The fourth card is lower, and I use it mostly for good money makers and stuff we really need to max out on like diaper deals.
