Ok, so I got my new coupon emailed and at the bottom of it reads:

Maximum $5 value. Limit of one purchase-based savings coupon, i.e., $2 off $10 purchase, $3 off $15 purchase, $4 off $20 purchase, $5 off $30 purchase, $10 off $50 purchase, $15 off $75 purchase, per transaction.

So, is this now their new policy or has anyone ever seen them print this before??

Huh I haven't gotten one of those yet. It wouldn't surprise me if they start doing this. At least they are still giving something.

I was told that if you have a printable coupon you can no longer use it with a crt. I have always been able to do it in the past- now at my stores it is 1 cvs coupon per transaction- bummer huh?

Well, at least with the disclaimer on them, maybe they will give them a little more often now since people will not be able to stack.

They are obviously changing again as last week the asst. mgr showed me an email about what kind of stacking on $/$$ is allowed. However since they used specific examples it was a little unclear as to how many different scenarios there can be if you spend $50. IE you could use a $10/$50 or a $5/$30 & a $4/$20, etc.

Mine is valid through 3/8/08 so I only have a few days to use it. I guess that is how they plan to prevent the coupon from being used multiple time by the same person.

I am so with you. I love this coupon. I will keep using it until it expires...It does mean a lot of smaller trips but that is ok by me.

Most of my CVS here are big stores... so to save gas.. I check out 1x at pharmacy w/small health related items... then again up front with the big items!!
I just tie up my bag from Pharmacy with recipet (-ECBs) in it and stick it in my diaper bag and then load up again!!!

I am in pretty good with the managers at my store. The last I heard, they will allow one coupon of each value per order, so I could use a $5/$30, $4/$20, $5/$15, $2/$10 etc. on one order. But could NOT use two $4/$20's, even if coded differently. Does that make sense. Unless it changed again in the last week and a half, this is what MY CVS allows- again, YMMV

You can use those on one order IF your order total was $75.

I personally think CVS is trying to figure out some new rules and are testing things to see what works.. with a big corporation it is hard to enforce and make all the store managers what the intended policy is supposed to be...

I am going to continue to use the coupons and see what works and what doesnt... As in the past this has always depended on the store, the cashier, his/her mood, the time of day, and if you can do three cartwheels in a row....

Exactly! They don't want us getting $16 off a $30 order ~ if that were there intent they would have issued a $16/$30.

But $16/$75 is simply combining the $30, $20, $15 & $10 purchases. Because you could do 4 transactions if needed to.

I received the 3/15 and 2/10 CVS in 2 of my emails today... I noticed the 2/10 says:

I'm sure the 3/15 says the same thing, but I just did not pay close enough attention.

The only way to stop people from abusing the system by stacking is to just give $/$$ coupons on CRT's, I'd actually like that much better, I didn't even get a coupon in my email today
