Catalina Great deal with overage~Read

My Walgreens has a lot of the Viactiv on clearance for 3.49.

There is a Walgreens coupon in their ad this week for $3 off and a $2.00 coupon in their rebate book.

Also a manufacturers coupon in some Sunday papers this week.

Don't know if it will work at all Walgreens, but I was able to use all of the coupons above and apply the overage from the Viactiv(bought 4 of them) for the P&G $12.00 register rewards six item deal.

Ended up spending .17 cents and got $12.00 in RR. I love Walgreens!

orajel toothpaste and toothbrush (from other post) $4.29
4 viactiv $3.49 = 13.96
6 travel pantene $1.29 = 7.74

Total $21.70

-12.00 WG on viactiv
-8.00 Rebate book viactive
-3.00 WG orajel

New total $2.99

Get $12 RR

Which should come first, the 7day q or ES q? Thanks! I don't think I've used both before so I don't know. But I know manu should be first.

I thought we had to use one mfg and one wag coupon?

aren't both the 7 day flyer and the ES considered wag coupons?

NoahsMomma,
I'm assuming you didn't use any WAGS coupons on the P&G $12.00 register rewards six item deal, correct?

That could be why you got away with this (using 2 kinds of WAGS coupons on the VIACTIV). Maybe the register didn't recognize/ link all the WAGS coupons to the VIACTIV.
So as long as your total item count was = or > your coupons count, they went through.

Typically I believe you can only use 1 kind of WAGS store coup and 1 manuf coup on 1 item.

CRAP

You can only print two coupons and I tried to flip the paper and use the other side to print the 2nd one I put the paper in wrong and it printed the coupon on the same page but upside down. So it messed up my coupons.

I learn something every day.... which is why I love this board.

I never knew that..... and I'm surprised that Wag's would put out both at the same time this being the case.

I'll have to remember to look for matchups this way.

Thanks so much!

eta: So can I use a weekly, monthly and mfg coupon on the same item? (with two fillers). I expect the answer to be no.... but now I gotta ask!

actually you can use a 7 day coupon, an ES coupon and/or another walgreens coupon when they have them. I learned that when they did the .29 on leap day she let me use the 7 day and the special making it -.13 for 6 hershey candy bars, I didn't try it the cosmetic lady just scanned it she even said isn't there another coupon I was shocked but she works here so she should know.

They are both messed up. I tried to stop printing to leave the bottom blank and save the ink but it printed the whole page on top of itself but upside down. Sorry if it's confusing. You can still get the barcode but can't see the address of where to mail it.

I have done this before, well often I should admit...I have learned the hard way. I have used these coupons before. The cashier looks at it funny but as long as the barcode is clear give it a try.

Mine had both types, the chewable and the glides. The glides were 3.29, the chewable 3.49.

There was a man Q in Sundays paper for 1.00 chewable and a 2.00 off glides, for those whose printer didn't work out.

ETA: Make sure you take a look at the expiration date of the pills. A few of mine were somewhat shortdated (expiring in Sept. 08) and some were longer dated, Feb '09.

OH MY GOODNESS Noahsmomma, I LOVE YOU!! Went to 3 different Wags and was able to buy the Viactiv, RR deals, and ended up putting $25 on my WAGS gift card.
SOOOO, I spent $5 OOP, I have $41 RR, $25 added to my WAGS gift card, and have product yet besides!!!
PLUS, I'm not sure what happened(and neither are 2 managers)BUT my transaction got messed up and they had to void it out. They accidently used up my WAGS card instead of adding $10 to it, so they voided it out. Well, then my balance was 0.00 on the gift card, I had $36.10 on it before the mess up. The 1 manager couldn't get the $36.10 back on the card, so she gave me $38.09(she said they had to pay tax on it!!!) So, then I proceed to recheck everything back out, add $10 to my gc(that should have 0.00 on it)and when we were done and she gave me my receipt, there was $43.88 on my GC!! So, I then go ack to the 1st manager and tell her what was up, she looked through the receipts, and then called up another manager. He looks at all the receipts and says, you're good to go! I said are you sure??? He said, yep, have a great day!!
Still in shock, I'm not sure what happened. I think the $36.10 somehow went back on the card after all of the voids?

Use caution with viactiv. A few years ago I was given a sample in a store. It cracked a back tooth. Fred Meyer agreed to pay 1/2 of the dental bill.

The 7 day coupon states a limit of 4, but it takes off $3 for each. I am so thrilled with this deal. I was just going to mail my mother the vitamins/calcium, but hubby tasted them (chewable) and actually LIKED them. I told him they were nutritionally complete for WOMEN, he shrugged and said "So it's not like I'm gonna turn into a woman by taking them am I? Besides, if I want vitamins, it's not like you're going to BUY them for me anyhow" I guess I have him trained to accept the inevatable and the coupons!
