Just FYI, this coupon *MAY* be linked to the card # of the person it was originally emailed to. There have been reports (on other boards) of people trying to use this coupon (fwd'd to them by someone who got it from CVS) and the computers would not accept them. If you look at the fine print under the coupon, there is wording that suggests some sort of tracking/ linking. Though I didn't think CVS was that technologically sophisticated

Trust me - I had NUMEROUS people forward me their emails from CVS and they were ALL the same exact thing!

They had issues with my coupon. The cashiers were so nice. They could not get it to go through, either the barcode or the actually numbers they typed in. They voided it twice. The manager helped and they finally had to put in some other code that they had. They were very nice about it.

The register would not accept the coupon for me either, I am wondering if only the people who received the email are approved through their Extra Care #. Did anyone who did get the email have a problem with the coupon?

They tried and tried, even scanning the store extra care card, then eventually manually overrode it. And I did get my GC, but I felt like they now 'know' I used a coupon that wasn't mine. (Paranoid, I know)

CVS will take an internet printed Walgreen's prescription coupon won't they like the one on the Walgreen's forum? It says FREE $25 Walgreens gift card with any transferred prescription purchase. I'm just thinking that they would take that to keep my business at CVS so I don't transfer it to Walgreens and then I don't have to stress over the CVS coupon. Any thoughts?

Ok, I have never done any CVS until today. Used this and got the GC. Haven't used it yet though, I am going to wait and spend it on something really good!!!!
It took them a while to figure out how to make it work, but I just stood there and smiled and I finally got it!!!!

my CVS takes comp. coups they took the Rite Aid one for a 30 GC. I think most are happy to get your buisness but I guess all are different.

I would feel better about trying to use a competitor's coupon if your store takes them. I know of one near me that even has it on their sign out from that they accept competitors' pharmacy coupons. It can't hurt to call and ask.
