Juat a FYI on this promotion. I your Mcdonad's has rolled out the new Mickey D's Sweet Tea then the introductory price should be 1.00 so order a large sweet tea and get a skillet burito for 1.06! Enjoy they are good but high in fat grams!!!!!

Our McD's have disclaimers posted that if you order Lg. Sweet Tea and want the offer, you have to pay $1.59 for the dang dollar tea!(or $1.29 for the medium) Makes no sense!

I saw the commercial today & also got an email but since my PC had connection problems
(kinda weird when the bill is a lil bit past due & the Verizon FIOS tech I talked to on the phone said nope there's nothing blocking on your account)
told me it's a router problem, sent the repair tech over & magically working again!

I I will go tomorrow after dropping off DH @ work, then maybe go to the one by my house just before lunch

Well anyway the email said Leap out of bed! I got (2) separate emails

McD's now has wifi too so you can have breakfast there & check your emails

You know, I was trying to figure out why my total was $3.18 for 2 teas this morning when we got our burritos. That really bites! Mine didn't say anything about it costing more, even when I asked!

Call your local McD's to see if they are participating. I do remember them doing the .29 hamburgers the last time Leap year came around.

Well it's very annoying about this FREE BURRITO during breakfast hours since dropping of DH I went to McD's & 1st the drive thru speaker wasn't working, so I drive up to the window this was about 5:40 AM the guy tells me it doesn't start until 7 AM for the FREE but I could buy one @ $2.79 so then I asked him about the sweet tea a medium is $1.39 large $1.79

So I left then went w/my neighbor later on @ 9:00 AM before taking her to work we got:

(2) McSkillet Burrito $5.58
(1) M Sweet Tea (I ordered but got Raspberry Iced Tea) $1.39
(1) M French Vanilla $1.69

Total $8.66
Promo - $5.58
Tax .27
OOP $3.35

Well we both agreed it's a lil bit spicy.

Either they didn't have the sweet tea & not sure what it is or made a mistake

Sweet tea a southern staple - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review

Sweet Tea
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This recipe is from "Paula Deen & Friends." She says she makes hers sweeter than her mother did.


8 cups water, divided
7 tea bags
1 cup granulated sugar
Fresh mint sprigs
Lemon wedges

Bring 4 cups water to a boil in a kettle.
Add the tea bags and turn off the heat immediately.
Place the lid on the kettle and allow the tea to steep for 1 hour.

Remove the tea bags and pour the tea into a pitcher.
Add the sugar and stir to dissolve.
Add 4 cups cold water.
Serve over ice with a sprig of mint and a lemon wedge in each glass.

Makes 2 quarts, about 10 servings.

well, missyo and I decided to run over, we figured we would get there just before 11 and she and I get the burrito, and then get the boys chicken nuggets after 11- well, apparently we missed breakfast time by 1 minute!!! AND they weren't running the chicken nugget deal, so we let the kids play and left and went to DD to get our free hot chocolates with coupons!
Still fun, but not what we had planned!
