| I feel like I'm stealing
I did the Revlon deal this morning. Used the $4/20, 15 ECB from the Huggies deal last week and $2 Revlon coupons. I walked out there paying 0.17 (just tax) which is the best I've done so far. Then I rolled the 10 ECB, used another $4/20 and other coupons for my next transaction and paid $3.74 and then got 7 ECB back. The cashier didn't seem all the impressed and called another cashier to the front as I was walking away(no one else was in the store)...now I'm paranoid they were going to check my coupons maybe? I told my DH I feel like I'm stealing even though everything I'm doing is honest and legit. Anyone else feel this way?

I don't feel guilty at all. They are getting paid by Revlon for all the coupons that you use. And you earned the ECB's by buying other products.

LOL! You'll get over it. They don't check coupons. Usually the cashiers couldn't care less! I have had a few who were impressed by my deals though. Occasionally you will catch a cashier who is irritated that they didn't think of it first though! Just keep n mind that CVS isn't taking that huge of a hit with your bargains. They get every penny of the manu. Q's back. BTW, great deals though! Good going!

I felt really funny the first few times I did stuff. I'd feel guilty because I felt like I spent a lot of money based on what I came out with, and then I'd feel guilty when I remembered that I actually only spent ten cents! But, I'm over it! I also had a bit of paranoia about a cashier because she worked like every day, and I knew she thought I was crazy. But, the last time I went in, she commented on how I'm always using my ecbs and making more. She said she always ended up letting hers expire, and I told her that CVS is my hobby. ha. She also told me that they would take the ecbs a few days after the expiration date. Anyway, so now I'm not paranoid about her any more!

I understand how you feel. I feel the same way. I think its natural because you feel like you get so much for the small amount you pay (and I think we were all used to paying a lot for getting a small amount in the past). I keep thinking they must scrutinize me and my coupons, although no one has done anything overt to validate that feeling. It's just me. I'm glad to hear that feeling eventually subsides |

I used to get all nervous and worked up about it- after a while, you won't care at all- you know you did great, and were just working the system they put in place- you just do it better than most people!

My husband calls my CVS shopping "legal stealing" ![]() But remember, coupons ARE tender! And stores usually have a 4X mark-up rate. So even when they mark stuff 50% off they are still making a profit. So the Revlon deal right now where we buy $20 and get $10 in ECB. They are still making a $5 profit on the Revlon because the $20 of merchandise only cost them $5. And they are getting the money we paid in coupons reimbursed. And when we go in to spend the $10 we are buying merchandise that cost CVS $2.50. CVS isn't loosing money on this! Our coupon use is the same profit for CVS as if we paid cash like the next person in line. The guilt passes! As long as you are following the rules of the mfr and the CVS printables you have no reason to feel bad! You are just smarter and better at the game than the person who goes in and spends $10 on Revlon items and thinks they got an awesome deal.

| I believe the eye shadow singles start at $4.99 (when the few colors went 75% off they were $1.25) I plan on doing emery boards for $1.89 11 = $20.79 less $4/$20 printable = $16.79 less 11 @ $1 Revlon cosmetic or beauty item peelies = $5.79 I will roll $6 in ECB's into $10

I think that early uncomfortableness does wear off eventually because I know that I felt weird about it at first. But, today, I had $15 in ECB's to spend from my mom's card. I didn't want to roll them into new ECB's because I didn't want to take any more deals from my mom's card that she could do if she wanted. Anyway, I picked up 2-8 packs of Scott's paper towels, 4.99 each 1-Gallon of Milk, 3.99 2-Sunday papers, 1.50 each for a total of 16.97 -2 $1/1 Scott's Q =14.97 -$15 ECB =$0.00 oop!!!! I lost .03 in the deal, but I didn't pay tax. Talk about feeling like you're stealing!! I literally walked out without handing over even pennies. That was a sweet deal!
