What is Free Comic Book Day?

Free Comic Book Day is a single day - the first Saturday in May each year - when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely FREE* to anyone who comes into their stores. *Check with your local shop for their participation and rules. ALSO check for Creator signings, you might be able to meet the creator of your favorite comic book!

Thanks for the heads up! We went kinda late and the guy was super nice and gave my son three comic books. They are Yo Gabba Gabba, The Incredible Rockhead, and Peanuts/Adventure Time with Finn & Jake.

He really wanted a Mickey one so we got a Walt Disney one with Mickey, Pluto and Goofy in it. Not to shabby 4 comics and a happy 4 yr old for $3. =)
