Well to start off let me tell you that my DH is very shy, he's quiet and reserved and hardly ever gets angry or goes back to a store to get money back for something. He grew up with money so he kind of takes it for granted sometimes. With that being said, I think I am starting to rub off on him a little. Last night he ran to Target to get a prescription for me since I wasn't feeling so well and it was snowing out. He calls me from target and tells me the pink i pod I have been eyeing is in stock. It's on sale this week with a free $25 i tunes gift card. So i tell him, sure go ahead and get it. He comes home and procedes to tell me the mess he had to go through to get the gift card with it. It seems that the employee working the electronics counter was phoning in his job performance that night, and told DH that the only card that would work with the sale was a pink valentines i tunes card, which they were out of. So he buys it anyway. As he's looking for something else he comes across a sign over some blue cards that say free with purchase of 8 gb pink i pod. So he grabs one and takes it back to the electronics counter. The kid says he can't do it now because he's already paid for it. So DH goes to Guest services and returns it and turns around and buys it back with the gift card! I was so proud of him! And for some odd reason he gets 1.56 back from the purchase, not sure how that happened! The only thing he forgot to do was have them put the repurchase on the target check card, but he originally purchased it with that, so I'll forgive that one mistake! I was so proud of him for standing his ground and getting what he was entitled to!!! I think I'll keep him!

That was sweet of him! How wonderful that he is thinking of you and got you a special gift! And to fight for his free gc *sigh*, what a guy! Definitely keep him!

Oh, he's a keeper, trust me. He may not clean or pick up his pop cans, but I really can't complain. Waaaaaay better than the first DH and that one would actually clean! It's funny what you look for in a mate! Sweetness matters!
