If I purchase a chapstick (the regular one) for the .99, will I get the RR? I didn't see it in the ad.

I don't think the REGULAR chapstick gives RR, only Chapstick NATURALS.
BUT this week the in-ad coupon for "regular" chapstick $0.99 works on the NATURALS.

I was just at WG and bought the Softsoap and Naturals and used a $.50 mfr but forgot the 7-day coupon that would have saved me another buck!

That coupon says good on Chapstick Assorted Formulas .15 oz.
The Chapstick Naturals is .15 oz. A small coupon is not going to show every available type of chapstick product on it, that is why it says Assorted Formulas, and the Chapstick Naturals is one of them.
It is totally out of line for a cashier to make the assumption that this coupon is not valid for the Chapstick Naturals. There is nothing fishy or YMMV about this deal, that coupon is good on the Chapstick Naturals and I would demand that they scan it.

Yep, just to confirm:

I just used the .99 coupon on the Naturals at three different registers (Pharm., Cosmetics, and the regular one, LOL!) and it went through with no problems at all 3, and printed the $2.00 RR each time.

I did the same thing here; I did 3 separate transactions ; used the .99 cent cpn from the walgreens flyer and got the 2.00 RR each time.

I also did it three different times at two different Walgreens and all six times it worked..however, I don't just buy the Chapstick by itself, I always buy other stuff as well..like the gum that's on sale (wrigley's with the 2 different Qs (ad and ES) and the Chapstick..works like a charm!

I went there tonight and picked up the Robotussin $3.99 - $3 coupon and then the Chapstick Naturals .99 and my bill was $2.xx. I then got 2 ~ $2 RR back!

The chapstick is usually located by the cough medicine and pain relievers but I have also seen this by cosmetics or on an end isle in a display. It is a light green box with either green or purple on it.

I did buy the Naturals, paid my 1.09 and got the $2.00RR. I am going back today with my dd and she is going to buy one and I am going to buy one.

thanks for the help! I was able to find it and bought 5 of them at 2 different Walgreens. I am going to get some more tonight while we are running errands. The cashiers did give me some weird looks, but oh well.

I went this morning and she entered the code off the coupon and it said "item not purchased". She said that the coupon didn't work on the Chapstick Naturals, and it didn't seem to.

Does it matter if they punch it in vs. scan it? I am pretty sure she entered the correct numbers off the coupon.

At least I got the $2 RR, but I had to pay $2.11 with tax to get it, so it's not really worth it to me, kwim?

I just thought it was weird that it seems to be working for you guys but it didn't work for me. Any thoughts?

I've had them scan it or type it in--worked both ways. That's kinda weird that it doesn't work for you. :-/

I had the same problem. I couldn't get the .99 cent deal because the computer beeped. I was in a hot hurry and didn't argue with the cashier who probably has worked there for 50 years. Next time I will go to a different store.
