Ok, here's what happened:

Went to WAG to purchase the chapstick (that spits out $2 RR) and the Organix shampoo that is FAR. I wanted to use a $4 RR from the Post Cereals, but the asst. manager told me I couldn't do that and expect to receive the $2 Chapstick RR. So, I had her ring them up separately, and used the $4 RR on the shampoo. Got the $2 RR by purchasing chapstick by itself.

But...I thought you could use a RR on a purchase as long as it wasn't the same purchase that the RR came from. Am I making sense? Since I was using the Post cereal RR, I assumed the Chapstick RR would print. Anyone know 100% for sure?

I agree the manager is not right.

I was having a hard time using my RRs bec i use coupons on all my other purchases as well. Am I right thinking that you can use the RR on other items that you don't have coupons for? Like the other day I bought 4 Post (use 4 qs), 6 Stayfree (use 6 qs), 3 Sunsilk (use 3 qs) and my total was still above $10 but the register won't accept my $2 RR. The manager and the cashier didn't know what to do and didn't have a clue why but I think I know why. I just told them I'll use the RR next time.

Then yesterday I made a mistake of using the $4 RR I got from Post on my purchase that includes another 4 Post cereals. So the $4RR didn't come out. The manager was so nice to just give me a $4 GC.

Yes, you are correct. You can use the RR to pay for a purchase that a different RR will spit out.

Just remember the RR counts as a Manufacturer coupon and you can only one coupon per item so make sure your item/coupon count is ok.

Since I got some answers from the post I have a quick one.. Can you get rr's for more than one 'deal; on the same trans. .. i.e post ($4) and chapstick ($2) You should right?
