All in all had a successful night!! My friends & I got everything we went in for!! My Wal-mart was crazy!!! Someone started to cut the plastic & the whole store went crazy about 10 minutes earlier than 10 pm, luckily we were all in place & ready!! We were out of there in about 20 minutes!! Kohl's took us about 2hrs, but we also got everything we wanted & some really great deals!! Target we were in & out of pretty fast as well with everything on our lists! I was not impressed with The Children's Place sales this year! I really enjoy shopping black Friday, but I wish it would move back to earlier morning hours!! I am EXHAUSTED & my body is not happy from being up for over 24 hrs!! And I really wish they would go back to staggering opening hours!! Happy Shopping everyone!!

I got a tonnnnnnnnn of stuff yesterday - mostly everything on my list, the only real disappointment was that our Walmart couldn't locate their xbox live cards before we had to "bunker down" next to the stuff we wanted, so we didn't know where they were to get any! At Walmart we got the small waffle iron, mini chopper, and single-cup coffee brewer (all $2.84 or something), two sets of the microfiber sheets, two of the big leather-covered trunk/ottoman things, a pyrex set, a black & decker blender, a bunch of DVDs & Blu-Ray, Battleship, and then for Toys For Tots I picked up Candy Land, a Cinderella Doll, and the 8pk matchbox cars. Earlier in the day we went to Walgreens....SEVERAL walgreens...and picked up a 4pk of Kleenex, 4 individual boxes of kleenex, 5 boxes of toothpaste, 4 cans of shaving cream, deodorant, 2 old spice body spray, TEN! TENNNNN 18-PC HAIR TIES omg, I'm still excited about those hahhaha...an advil PM, and four packs of soleil razors. The toothpaste I will also be donating to local homeless teens, I just used it to roll my rewards - which I still have $16 left in RR we didn't spend!! Aside from the walmart fiasco (which I elaborated on in another thread) all in all I'm really pleased with our haul. I am especially looking forward to making margaritas in this new blender while we recover from last night, LOL. OH! I nearly forgot - this morning I also snagged myself a $150 Motorolla Xoom tablet from Verizon I've been wanting a tablet for AGES (and using Verizon for years!) and the price was just too good to be true. They were marked down to $200 and I managed to stumble across a $50 off any tablet deal, so woooohoooooo! It should be in the mail tomorrow! |

I got soooooo much stuff, stayed up late wed night - thurs morning waiting for the Best Buy sale to go live online, but gave up around 2:30 a.m. EST. My mom though woke me up around 6 am saying everything was on sale, so I grabbed like 4 volumes of Family Guy for $9/each, all 7 seasons of Boy Meets World for $9/each (love this show!!) Transformers 3 for $10, a pair of blutooth headphones for $50 for my b/f, some turtle beach headphones for him for $40 I think, and some $40 universal remote control that he wanted. I also bought 2 seasons of House via Amazon, so I'd be able to skip Target at midnight, and bought a $30 quilt and a Bulova watch from Macys.com (came out to about $120 after taxes & my coupon code) so waiting on all of this stuff to be delivered now. Left my house last night around 9:30 pm to head over to Kohl's and wait in line. It wasn't that bad outside last night, and we were one of the first 25 people in the door. The line was hugggggggggggggge, and of course, all of the lurkers started showing up and refusing to get in line who tried to cut. We even kicked one lady out who tried to cut and though she wasn't gonna get caught, and kept telling her to leave the line & go stand in the back w/ everyone else! What was awesome though was that about 5 - 10 mins before the store opened, the employees came out and the manager started yelling at everyone and said that the employees were going to come out to stop people from cutting in line, so the employees lined up next to us and blocked off the entrances so all of the lurkers couldn't cut! It was so great, everyone was clapping and cheering the employees, and when they finally let us in, all of the employees inside were clapping and greeting us! Got a ton of stuff, was in & out in 30 mins which was way better than the last 2 years, where the line itself took over 30 mins to get through. Grabbed the $50 1.5 memory foam topper, 2 pairs of 400 thread count sheets for $40/each, a fleece throw for $9, a couple of $4 candles, towels for $4, tights for $6, and some baby sleepers for $6/7 for my cousin, whose baby is due next week. The store was starting to get packed though, so we left & it was hard to navigate w/ the cart, so I ended up going back this morning around 10-ish, and grabbed another set of 400 TC sheets, some pj bottoms for $12, 2 cardigans for $10/each, some fuzzy socks for $5 and 2 clearance sets of pillow cases for $13/each (the real reason I went back was b/c I forgot to try to find some pillow cases, haha!) ended up with a total of $75 kohl's cash to use next week now! Also ran over to Office Depot, since they were running a sale on itunes gift cards. If you purchased 2 multipacks, they gave you $15 off, so I got 2 packs of the $30 cards and ended up only paying $45 for $60 worth of itunes! Did 2 transactions of these, one for me & one for my b/f, which he'll get for Christmas. Went to work after all of this, and just got back from Toys R Us. I tried going to TRU after Kohl's this a.m. for the Lion King bluray/dvd combo pack for $15, but the line was insane, so I left and went to the outlet mall, which was also packed and I left there empty handed. Glad I got the Lion King tonight though, grabbed the last 2 copies & the line was long, but moved fast, so I was in & out in 30 mins. I kept hoping Amazon would put these on sale so I could skip TRU, but no such luck, haha. Overall, I spent WAY too much, LOL, but had a ton of fun & grabbed so much stuff that I needed (most the Kohl's stuff for the house). At least the b/f is splitting the cost of most of this stuff w/ me, I went way over bored, and am planning on going back to the outlet mall tomorrow, haha! I heard horror stories about the Wal-Mart in the area though, the people in front of me @ Kohl's were saying how people were getting really rude/pushy, there was no parking, pushing people up against the cellophane wrapped pallets, etc. This is the only store I actively avoid during BF, just never seems worth it to me to have to deal with all of that craziness, they need to just start being more like Best Buy & have people line up and get tickets to get the hot items. |

Was out the store at 9:35 pm. Back to Best Buy. We got 3 42inch tvs, 2 laptops, 1 ipod, 2 Harry Potter 8dvd set, 1 I pod accessories kit. Home at about 2:30am. Left DD and BF in line getting the last 2 of our tvs. they got back at about 5:30 after going to eat. Unpacked cars. Out to Meijer at 6:00 am. Got Deluxe Pillow rest raised bed, and some $5.00 dvds. It is now 9:50 pm, still haven't been to sleep yet. Had to cook and eat Thanksgivings dinner. Very successfull blackfriday. |

My husband was suppose to wake me up to get to Walmart by 10. Well, that didn't happen. I ended up waking up at 4:50 a.m. When I got to the parking lot, the employees said I was too late to get any of the electronics, but the toys were left. So, I went to the back and I saw two customers with the $248 t.v.'s. I looked in the middle of the aisle and there was five left! I scooped one up quickly and placed it my cart. One of the employees told me that they had so many left because people who had tickets never came back to purchase them. Unfortunately, I could not get any of the Baby Alive dolls which was my original purpose of going.

Our Wal-Mart was absolutely insane! Went about 9:45 PM and nowhere to park within half a mile of Wal-Mart. I was only going for the good deals on PS3 and Xbox games and a couple other small things, didn't feel like going through that to save $30. Found the games I wanted later on Amazon lightning deals for the same prices as WalMart so I was happy anyway! Oh, and today I price-matched Lowe's BF ad for a Cuisinart griddler @ $69 at Bed Bath & Beyond and used a 20% off coupon so I paid $59.XX. I was pleased, they are normally $99 and I've been wanting one!

I had an amazing Black Friday. I started the shopping festivities by going to Wags on Thanksgiving Day and got $140 of product for under $20. For BF we had kind of decided we wanted a PS3 from Target and didn't have any urge to go anywhere besides GameStop for BF shopping. We got in line at Target at 8 pm partly because we decided that if we were just going to sit around we might as well do it outside Target. We got the PS3, towels and hand towels, the comforter with the free duvet, the $20 DVD player, a bunch of DVDs and blu-rays, a pair of boots, a griddle and some other assorted stuff. We ran to GameStop and got six pre-owned PS3 and Wii games for under $60 with their B2G1 sale, in and out in 15 minutes. We then stopped at Best Buy partly because I really wanted the $10 HP Part 2 Blu-ray and my wife wanted a bunch of the $2.99 CDs but we wanted to see how long the lines were. They did have them but the line was two hours long. I ended up going back to Target and PMing it. We were in and out in 5 minutes and I was so happy. We were home by 2:30 and went to sleep because I had to work at 9 am. I had really wanted to hit Joann Fabrics and BBW but wasn't able to because of work. After work I decided I'd waited long enough to get my iPod Touch so I got one at Best Buy. I used the GC to get a bunch of the $2.99 CDs my wife wanted (only missing one of the ones she said she'd wanted), Uncharted 3 for PS3, a cover and charger for the iPod, ear buds, a Happy Napper for my younger son, the $5 flash drive, a $4 DVD and some other assorted things. Overall I'm very pleased with my BF haul and am impressed that I had very little hassle the entire day.

| What did everyone successfully get? We do BF every year since DD's B-day is so close to X-mas, (shop for both occasions), but we did not see anything in the 2011 BF worth getting. The 2011 BF advertised toys were the same as last year. ![]() Therefore, we did something different for 2011 BF. We shopped FCS (Family Christian Store) and Petsmart. Both FCS and Petsmart 2011 BF sales were one day only. Since FCS opened their doors @ 6am CST and Petsmart opened their doors at 7am CST. we did not have spend the night outside. A first for us in many years! FCS * To Save a Life DVD $5 (Regular Price 19.99) * Hachi: A Dog's Tale DVD $5 (Regular Price 19.99) * Wild Stallion, The DVD $3 (Regular Price 14.99) * Casting Crowns: Lifesong CD $5 (Regular Price $9.99) * Casting Crowns: Casting Crowns CD $5 (Regular Price $9.99) * Mark Schultz: Renaissance CD $3 (Regular Price $9.99) * Made to Crave (Book) by Lysa Terkeurst (Proverbs 31 Ministries & Klove) $5 (Regular Price $14.99) * Not a Fan (Book) by Kyle Idleman (know him & his father) $5 (Regular Price $14.99) Subtotal: $36 Sales Tax: 6% = $2.16 Total: $38.16 Total Saved w/out Q's $78.92 Petsmart * 5 Transactions * 13 35 lb Tidy Cats Scoopable Clay Cat Litter $8.99 (Regular Price $14.99) * 4 6 oz packages of Beggin' Strips Dog Treats $3.50 (Regular Price $3.99) * 1 30 litters CareFresh Natural Premium Pet Bedding Free (Regular Price $11.99) Subtotal: $70.37 Sales Tax: 6% = $7.08 Total: $77.45 Used 23 Q's equaling $72.49 OOP $77.45 93 % Savings Plus a $5 Catalina printed out @ register with each transaction for a total of: (5) $5 Catalinas = $25 ONO (CATs not calculated into mathematical savings equation). Budget:$124 $124 - $38.16 = $85.84 $85.84 - $77.45 = $8.39 $8.39 under budget Last edited by FreeCouponingOnline; 11-26-2011 at 05:28 PM. |

I started early since Weds ON cardholders were allowed to come shop the BF ad, so I did that first Weds afternoon since the kids had an early release day from school, used my birthday $15 off a $50 and got two mens' sweaters, a ladies' clearance sweater, six of the $1 scarves, seven of the $3 cozy socks, a toddler boys' graphic tee and fleece pant outfit...and a couple of treats at the checkout ($1 ring pop for DD for waiting VERY patiently while I shopped LOL, and astronaut ice cream and glow in the dark stars, since school fundraiser is asking for space-themed items for a gift basket to auction off). After taxes and coupon paid $61.49, saved $122!!!! I did two nights of BF shopping since Weds night I went to CVS (got there at 10:30, was first couponer in the store and filled my cart, then waited for a couple of items were they holding in the stockroom, once they brought those out and put out the sales ad at 11:45, the eight or so other couponers and I took turns checking out). Started with $8 ECB and $10 GC, ended with $115 in items (based on sale prices) spent $2.65 (tax), left with $8.37 on the GC and $16 in ECBs. All the couponers and CVS staff were friendly, it was a FUN time!!Thursday night, put the kids to bed at my parents' house (again, thanks Mom and Dad!) and went to Target, got there about 9pm. Was about 40th in line--Target managed the line very well, lots of security and employees to avoid jumpers, answering questions. They let us in in waves (I was at the beginning of the 3rd group), it went awesome, very peacefully . I got the $109 Blu-Ray (the Sony one that does 3D, and is WiFi enabled--it is going to be my Christmas present from my parents, so we can use it to stream Netflix and get rid of our cable bill, HURRAY!)Also got 3 pairs of ladies PJs (for Sis, Ex-MIL and Ex-SIL) had a $3 off PJ TQ I think it was a CAT for one pair and another $3 off Merona TQ for the other, one pair of Men's PJs $10 minus a 20% off ($2) Merona Men's TQ (for ex-BIL) and one pair of toddler boys PJs (for kids' cousin). Bought a $9 Dirt Devil Broom (for Sis to use in her new Apt.) and also found her a cute sweater for her that was $15 (and then used a $4 off Sweater TQ). For DD I got a Squinkies (think that is the name LOL) DS game bundle pack with a couple of figurines with it for $15 as well as the $15 Epic Mickey Wii game (she plays Wii at my parents' house). For DS, I got a Cars2 Shake N Go for $10. Didn't really need much for either child since I am still working off the Target Toys Clearance pile from January LOL! Also scored a couple of $1.99 DVDs (haven't decided who is getting them yet). Since my parents paid for the Blu-Ray, my total was $98.92 (after all TQs, plus I used a $5/50 cat TQ that my DD picked up off the ground at the entrance last week, I was so happy she found that one LOL!) Used $5 GC that I had and paid $93.92 for all my stuff, was very pleased considering Broom Vac, Sweater, FIVE pairs of PJs, 2 DVDs, Wii game, DS Game and DS' toy!! Receipt says I saved $204.57 ($90 was on the Blu-Ray, so my savings was $114 )Last stop was Rite Aid on Friday afternoon, since I had +Ups that needed to roll by today. Went in with $10 GC (from a +Up that didn't print) and $11 in +Ups, spent 6 cents OOP, got $14 back in +Ups (a loss of $7 +Ups, but that was OK as I wanted to keep OOP low and not finding as much to roll at RA based on next week's ad) Bought: 2 Top Speed polishes for stockings (with $1/1 tearpad Q, so free after $2 +Ups), 2 Pot of Gold chocolate boxes (for Teacher gifts, $1.99 after +Ups), 3 rolls of wrapping paper (B1G2 free deal), 2 Scunci hair bands for stockings (free after +Ups) and used 2 B2G1 free Mars coupons and got six candy bars that were 3/$2 after +Ups (more stocking stuffers!) For the entire haul, I was $158.12 OOP, saved $381.77 (and of course have +ups and ECBs left to roll next week) 71% overall savings!! I was very thankful, since I have to keep very tight reins on spending this year and have a LONG list of people to gift to. |

I had a nice haul at CVS at midnight on Thanksgiving. I was able to get most items in my list. Went to TRU at 8:30 pm and got in store at 9:07pm and was checked out and on way home by 9:35pm. I got DD 2 disney toddler princesses, princess carriage, baby wipes, dora mega blocks, gone fishing game, wooden block set, 2 disney treasury books, disney princess handbag, and toy story 3 Bonnie's room figures. Kohls was in line about an hour before opened and got an awesome parking spot up front. Was out of Kohls by 12:35am. Got DD holiday dress, winter coat, talking dora and king sized comforter all for less than $70, saved $224 and got $15 Kohls cash. Went to outlets: Carter's - 2 Melissa and Doug puzzles $5 each, $5 fleece pullover, 2 pc outfit. Got $10 off my purchase because a customer was unruly and I let her in front of me to keep the peace. Osh Kosh - clearance shirt and pants Gap - 4 shirts for DH Williams Sonoma - pizza cutter and pumpkin coffee cake mix Gymboree - was the worst experience of the day 2 1/2 hrs in line! 2 sleep sets and 3 long sleeve shirts on clearance Target- no line at 6:30 am, got 3 pc sleep set with slippers $7 and 2 mitten and hat sets $3 for DD and a glove and hat set $3 for me. Went to the mall: Express- sweater for DH Children's Place - 3 $3.50 long sleeve shirts Gymboree - panda jeans and long sleeve shirts $12 for both! Jeans normally $32.95 Old Navy - not much of a line. Got DD fleece pants, fleece pullover, long sleeve shirt, 3 socks and got myself $1 scarf I think that covers it. Spent 12 hours shopping including driving an hour each way to the outlets. Black Friday has always been a tradition for me but I usually get some sleep. Never doing it this way again. All the items I wanted were still available at 6 am. I got home and slept all day! I saved a lot and have Christmas and b-day gifts for DD but so exhausting! Could have done TRU and Kohls and slept before driving to the outlets.
