aww man!!!! My cvs split the packs open and put them on the regular shelf. There is only 1 with the barcode that scans at $2.50 and 2 without barcodes!!!! Crap!!!! I was all excited too. My husband uses tons of Q-Tips. I'm gonna call another store and ask if they have any left. Does anyone know what the limit you can buy and still get the ecb's? And does this work even if it doesn't show up in our monthly ecb book? Thanks

My Question is, can I take all 3 to the register and have him use the 1 barcode to ring up all 3? The barcode on the scanner shows $2.50 so I assume this was the barcode on the two packs that is now on clearance. I won't get the double pack but will still get 3 and I have coupons for a $1.00 each box.

Than will that trigger my ecb's?


Does anyone know what the limit you can buy and still get the ecb's?

The ECBs would be triggered by the UPC assocaited with the double pack. I am unsure how they were packaged. Sometimes the double pack will use the UPC on one of the cartons or sometimes there is a new ECB on the plastic that holds the two together. I am assuming since there is only a UPC on one of the packs that it is what is associated with the twin pack. If that is the case, it would trigger the ECB...

If it isnt listed as a deal in your book or in a weekly ad, there is no sure way to determine whether it will trigger the ECB. Like it would in my area, but it is listed in my book. Could try one and see... unfortunately you cant look at the pack and see if it will give an ECB..

If you take three boxes to the cashier, they may pull the UPC from the one with the UPC (thus ringing them all under the ones code).. or they may call a manager up to sort it out.. No telling what he will decide. So again test the waters and see??...

Sorry I couldnt be of more help.. but honestly it is kind of a test the waters sort of thing. Try it once and see and you will know in the future.

5 J.J's = $14.95
2 Q-tips =$5.00
1 item = $1.00

total $20.95
- $4 cvs coupon
- $5.00 (5 $1 j and j coupons)
- $2.00 (2 j and j coupons)

new total $9.95

use ecb

ecb's earned $10 for the body wash and maybe $14 if the Q-tips worked. Even if they don't it turns out a good deal.

One store I went to tonight, has the labels torn off of the packages. The packages now scan for $4.29, so when you apply the coupon it's still a great deal at $3.29!
