| What's your strategy!
I shop with my Brother and Niece. We go in and DB hits the line while DN and I shop. If he wants something we switch! When he is close to checking out, we meet him, pay and then on to the next store! Works perfectly every time! |

I go with my hubby, he's great!!! He really thinks the whole ordeal is stupid but we leave the kids with Granny and go have a blast. He doesn't complain but one year he did offer me 20 bucks to leave Kohls ![]() We usuallly hit a few places around 3am then get to Sports Authority by 4:00, they usually open at 5am and we get the coupons and get something for free there - for camping or sports (we only have boys so that makes shopping pretty easy). One year we got free Coleman sleeping bags, last year we got 2 free soccer balls and another year we got a free camping stove.

Divide and conquer... we usually shop with at least 4 or 5 others... each of us (or a group) hits a store... one waits in line, the other gets the "goods" and we are usually in and out in a matter of 30 minutes at each store! Get in, get out, go home!

I go with a group of 4 other ladies. We share each others lists ahead of time and give each of us a copy of the master list with everyones items on it. Then we divide up in the store and get whatever everyone needs from the section each of us is assigned to. Meet back up in checkout and swap items into our own carts. Works like a charm every time :-)

The last two years it's been my b/f, my mom and myself, and we've hit the mall, then stood in line at Kohls and went separate ways to grab what we wanted. Not sure what the plan will be this year, I've got to work Friday and my b/f will be out of town, so it's just me & mom this year! I'm hoping to buy a ton of stuff online on Thanksgiving and only have to run out to Kohls w/ mom this year, gonna have to wait and see for the Target ad first though! :P

| ItalianPrincess1984, Your BF shopping strategy ROCKS! LOVE the list exchange & "master copy" list idea! Now all I need is 3 other women to "divide and conquer" with as my family is not into BF contact "sports". Quote:

This year my little sister and her friend are staying with me so... I have a plan. We will all go to target and wait so I can get a tv, waltz on over to walmart for some incidentals (things that will not be flying off the shelves) and then on to sears with my sister and the friend gets old navy. All these stores are in the same center .My sisters friend is my pants size so she will be grabbing me some jeans. It's basically divide and conquer. However if my mother asks me to purchase something, the friend will wait at the other store (again walking distance) until I can get there to pay. And we are both big (but my sister is "chunky") so my sister gets to run, if need be.

My fiance goes with me since we moved and I lost my shopping buddy when we moved. We usually start at Kohl's since they are early openers - he gets in line, I shop and bring him the larger items and then go back and shop some more. The line is so long that this works for us. One thing I learned last year - bring large reusable shopping bags since Kohl's runs out very quickly. We then go to Target and get what we want and typically pay in the electronics department since we buy stuff there - or they have 10 item or less item lanes some BF's which is great. We stick together in Walmart since that is our last stop and he is paranoid about the "bad" shoppers and wants to keep me safe. Happy shopping! Meghan |
