As some of you know, we busted the ceramic glass top of our stove last week. Luckily no oil spilled (olive oil holder broke it and we had hot oil on a front burner frying chicken) and there was no fire. We looked at Lowe's and Home Depot and decided to try Sears. Looked at HH Gregg on line, but didn't want to go all the way across town. Well we found one that was more than we need (5 burners and a convection oven) but it was 20% off and has a HUGE (12") burner in the front that will actually accomidate our pans PLUS a rebate for the delivery ($75). To replace this one with the current model, it would have been something like $20 less than this BETTER one on sale. It's getting delivered tomorrow!!! Oh, it's a Fridgidare(sp?).

Oh, and the sales guy was HORRIBLE. We saw him yesterday and he was very rude then tonight we walked in and were the ONLY people in there and he walked by us twice. John had to go get him. Very bad customer service and I will be contacting Sears.

Yaahhhhooooo!! I am so glad that turned out good for you!! When we bought our new house 3 years ago, I got to pick out the stove and they tried very hard to talk me into one like that. Biggest problem is that a lot of our cooking is done in cast iron and I knew it wouldn't take long!!
