I'm buying formula among other things...

I printed out those coupons ($5/30, etc.) When I purchase items that go towards ECBs is the total the computer uses the total I spend or the total I spend minus my ecb reward... Am I making sense?

So say I spend $20 to earn $10 ECBs, will the the $5/30 be based on a $10 purchase or $20?

Your ECBs don't print til your receipt does. So though it is nice to know how many you are getting that trip they have no overall effect on what you'll be paying out of pocket this trip. You'll have to have at the very least $30 worth of products to use the $5 off $30 coupon. In your case if your plan is only to buy $30 worth of merchandise it would be more beneficial that you use the $5 off $15 and the $3 off $15 and you'd get $8 off $30.

Hand them the $/$$ CVS coupon first. If you are using a 5/30, your total before tax will need to be 30.00 or more. The ECBs and other coupons come of after the $/$$(s) are applied. HTH

thanks I just wanted to be sure they weren't going to take the ecbs off my total BEFORE applying the really good coupons.
