Is anyone else having trouble with the new $5/$15 beeping?

I have been using it with no problems then today it started beeping.

I used a few yesterday and they didn't beep. One cashier had a hard time using the "gun" to scan the coupon. She just put it through manually! I plan to go out tomorrow!! I hope to find more breeze 2 meters!! I just love getting free diapers!!!

At one of the CVS's that I go to, there is a printed coupon on each of the registers ($5/$15) "X"ed out and it says "NO" on it. I haven't asked why they won't take them, but, I just figured that maybe I shouldn't use them anywhere.

I tried to use it earlier today and it beeped. This was the first time I had tried, since I hadn't been to CVS in over 2-3 weeks. When I got home, I looked into it. On another board, someone mentioned that the date had been altered on this coupon. This may have something to do with it, IMO. I would ask that it is removed from the generator, as we don't want newbies - or anyone - getting into trouble over copied coupons!

I used it yesterday with no prob, today it beeped and the cashier typed it in for me (same CVS). I won't use it anymore though because I don't like it to look fishy since I am in that CVS all the time.

That $5/$15 beeped for me this morning. The cashier pushed it through but I'm going to stop using it. Bummer -- that was a handy one.

Ditto on the "scanned yesterday, beeped today". I won't use it anymore either.

On a side note, I went to a CVS on Friday and stacked with no problem. I went back on Sunday, checked out with the same cashier and she said that she was going to call the manager to come and do those cpns ($/$$). She said something happened the other day where a customer had a copy of one (crooked/obvious copy) and tried to use it. She said now they are told no stacking and if they use a $/$$ on CVS items and there isn't the right $$ of CVS items the cashier will get fired.

So...thanks again to those who abuse the system.

i used it yesterday no problem i seen a lady today and they couldnt get hers to work

mine would not work, the guy said because it was from a new jersey newspaper. I thought someone on this board confirmed it was a legit online coupon and I don't know how the guy knew it wasn't, but it beeped and he wouldn't take it.

Me too. I was using it all this last weekend just fine and today it beeped. Like others they pushed it through, but I will no longer be using it.

If your talking about the big yellow one it beeped then added 5$ insted of subtracting, wierd... the cashier couldnt figure it out but pushed it through anyway as a coup. but I would rather not try to push my luck again with it.

Same here. Yesterday worked fine, but today it beeped. The cashier actually pushed it through by adding $.06 (a photo charge, he said) and then valued the q at $5.06. This was after multiple attempts and I was just about to tell him not to worry about it. But it finally worked. Thank you kind cashier!!! I won't use it again, though.

Crap. I just figured out this great deal using the coupon!! I was actually getting on here to ask if anyone had used it for stacking since it says not to use it with other cvs coupons.
Oh well, I guess I'll just use the 3/15!

Agreed.........I never used it because it appeared to me to be a scan of one of the coupons that was physically printed in a newspaper. I used the coupons out of my paper with no problems but didn't want to push my luck with the scanned one. The ones in my paper were only dated to be good for a few days & that one was dated a few weeks.........seemed a bit fishy to me.

The deals at CVS haven't been that great IMHO since the battery deal died anyway so I haven't been going that much. Need to though.......gotta roll some ECB's that expire next week!

So that is what the problem was tonight- that had my totals all screwed up. I had to take off 2 things that would have given me 4 ECB's and I had to spend 14 ECB to get my OOP to $1.74. That really sucks B/C not less than 30 min before I used that same Q at a another CVS up the street with no problem at all and had no OOP.

It happened to me yesterday too. It even had a problem when the manager tried to over ride. They some how got it to go through but I won't try that again!!

I believe just the yellow one. I didn't try it today but the red one did work for me today!

Is this because of the new program they have that tracks our coupon useage? I heard it only adds the amount on if you have used the q too many times in a certain time frame.

hmmmm, I am not sure I have used it alot this week before it started beeping and now that I think about it, my $3/15 was beeping yesterday.
