Office Depot, Office Max, & Staples
Hi all! I'm writing about the big 3 office supply stores in my area - Office Depot, Office Max, and Staples.
As most of you already know, all of these stores have loyalty cards/programs in place. I have been stocking up on cheap office supplies by getting their weekly previews emailed to my inbox where I can study up on who will have the best deals/freebies in the upcoming week! Also, between the 3 stores one of them at any given time WILL PROBABLY have a coupon out, which you can use an any store (except Staples...I don't think they will accept other competitor's coupons - but I could be wrong).
Just in the past 6 months I've gotten a huge stack of photo and copy paper, tons of free pens, free office storage boxes, free batteries, and other free office stuff. Of course, you need to be willing to "store hop" and go wherever the deals are from week to week. It is so much fun!
Also, save up those rewards checks you receive and check your stores for great clearance deals...I hit the motherload of clearance deals at Staples recently and got a bunch of very cheap aluminum foil, zip-lock bags, and dish soap (cheaper that CVS!). Combine the rewards with the clearance deals and the Store coupons and you can really add to your household item stockpile quickly!
Just a note: at my Office Depot they accepted my $10 off $30 Office Max Coupon! Also, I saw that they can accept competitor coupons from Best Buy, Target, Staples, Office Max and perhaps other competitors (may vary by store). Happy Deal-hunting! |
