Thanks for this! I got my makeup yesterday, after I was told that I couldn't use the coupon because I would get the items for free.

I said, "That's the whole point of using the coupon!"

Long story short, I wouldn't leave until they either had corporate tell me I could or could not use the coupon. (I was very nice, and said I understood if it wasn't allowed, but it was my understanding that the coupon was allowed). They called corporate offices and corporate said that it was perfectly okay and that I wasn't doing anything wrong!

Thanks jmgconner for your reply! The last time I tried to do this they wouldn't let me. I was so mad because I had been reading about all of the people who had done it and I was bummed that I couldn't. This time I'm going to patiently wait and let them see that I know what I'm talking about!

Dumb question I know - does the 2 BOGO's mean you buy one and actually walk out with three?

The store is giving one to you for free and the manufacturer is giving you one for free. They will get reimbursed from the manufacuturer coupon.

I had 5 coupons....and after A LOT of talking....5 different clerks and 1 manager they "pushed" it through for me....then they told me that this would "alert" corporate of the problem and that she was sure they would reprogram the computers to no longer allow it....ummmm whatever....I got 10 things free!

I just got back from Kmart with my 4 free mascaras! (paid tax of course) but I did my homework first. Thanks to a previous post. I called corp. this am before I went and asked about the coupon and they said it was no problem. I asked Alice the nice rep. what number they should call if I had any problems. I walked up to customer serv with # in hand and she said just tell the cashier I said its OK and they rang it right up! Happy Me. Heads up tho the eye shadow is not included in this BOGO sale.

Eye shadows are included (but only the 4.99 and up ones, not the 2.49 ones).

Sorry about that - I must have picked up the 2.49 ones because when she rang it up they weren't on sale. I didn't see any other eye shadow on display,so I just got more mascara.

Simba...I had the same problem with the eye shadows today. I picked up 4 of them that were 2.49 and I just had her take them off.

I went straight to the CS dept and had a supervisor ring me up. She remembered me from the last time, so she knew that all was legit.

I had 6 extra coupons, so I gave them to her. She was quite happy with helping me.

Thanks. I was able to get 4 mascaras for tax only in Utah. The coupons just went right through. The cashier said that's a good deal -where did you get the cpns?

Went Wednesday and found that my Kmart only has select eye shadows and lipsticks on sale for 50% off. No BOGOs here

Just got back from Kmart where they denied me using my coupon. After reading this thread, I called our Kmart manager and told him about it and that I have called corporate and they said it was fine. He said to bring my receipt and the coupon in and he will give me my $4.99.

He said he didn't know why they wouldn't take it either. The boy that I got was hateful and wouldn't even greet me when I first said to him. He asked the lady at the service desk and she said no too. Hope they are both there when I go back for my refund!!!
