I drank one of the 6 Hour Energy shots today (you know the B1 and get $4.99 ECB deal) since I had six kids come to my house unexpected and I knew that they were going to be a hand full. So I go to drink one and just before I downed it my hubby said "I bet it's going to taste like @ss". I ignored him and I chug it all down. It was horrible tasting. It tasted like strong cold medicine or something. I was gagging and frantically trying to find food or a drink to wash it down with. My hubby said my facial expression was priceless

Has anybody else tried this drink? They should come with a warning that they taste like bitter gym socks. Blachh

I did get some of them, not tried it though. Now I won't. Will give it to the guys at work and sit back to watch. Thanks for the heads up.

my dh mixes them in the blender with his protein shake~~apparently it mutes the taste because he loves them~~he keeps telling me to buy more, but i can never find them at my cvs stores.

Heck no! I am afraid of those things! (Not to mention 29 weeks pregnant :-)

We put some in the "goody box" for our cvs cashiers. One of the pharmacy techs told us that she chases them with that vitamin water to take away the nasty taste.

I could not find any here. Then I finally asked the cashier 'why they never had them'. She reached to the back display and handed me some!

Dah. should have asked sooner.

They do seem to hide them... or only have one out by the register at a time. Wonder why?

It actually worked pretty good. I have generalize anxiety disorder (treated with meds) so I have to be REALLY careful when using anything that *may* speed up my heart rate (for example OTC sinus medicine lands me in the ER with a HR of 170!) but this didn't make me even slightly gittery. I looked over all the ingrediants and it seems to be all natual (don't quote me on this!). It definately has no ephedrine or phenylephrine. It gave me a pretty big boast for 4-5 hours. All in all not bad, but the mom to be shouldn't take it period!

If it weren't for the taste I would be hooked. I might try to mix it into some other drink as a previous poster stated. It is sugar free which probably is why it tastes so bad.

I like me some sugar!

hee hee I am nursing mom, so I won't try it...but I've brought it into work to give away.....one day I think I had about 6 of the guys hopped up on energy drinks. The reports on the taste weren't very good...but I did have a few repeat customers, so it can 't be too bad...they said it tastes like RObitussin.
