| Extra Bucks question
In the ad it says if you buy $15.00 of Energizer Batteries get $5.00 extra bucks. My question in do I have to buy all of them in one order or can they be in seperate transactions to still receive extra bucks?

They can be in separate transactions. Use that $5 off each time!

CVS keeps a running total of the items you buy that qualify for Xtra Bucks. At the bottom of your receipt, you'll see how many you bought towards a "deal", how many you still need to buy to get the Bucks, or if the offer has been completed (meaning you already got the bucks). HTH! Oh, be sure to double check, though! I got home Saturday and had to call the # on my card because 3 of my deals said I hadn't purchased enough for the bucks - but I did! They said they will clear it up and it should be resolved at my next trip - hope so. Just make sure you get the bucks you're supposed to on each order - it's really easy to track with the printout on the bottom of the receipt. |

Just be sure you buy the "right" batteries. A few weeks ago when they buy $20 get $10 on the Energizer batteries it was only on certain ones, even though the ad said "any". I ended up returning the batteries because the 800# wouldn't do anything.

Today I went and bought the Robitussin, and Eneriger batteries, used the coupons, then my hubby went right after me in line and bought the same items used the coupons aslo, also used the same CVS card, but when I looked at the receipt, none of the items register at the bottom of the receipt, because I'am trying to get the Energizer ECB's so we both purchased them thinking we would only have to buy 1 more pack to get the ECB's, but it didn't say that on the bottom of the register slip, so I was thinking maybe it was so close together, it didn't register right away. But even the amount of the spending was the eact same amt. so do you think thats what happened, and the next time it should be on the register tape...????????

The current amount purchased towards each deal should reflect immediately on the receipt.. So after your transaction if you purchased 5.29 towards the battery deal.. it should show at the bottom of the receipt... |

Yes I did purchase the right ones, they were the exact ones that were previously purchased right before, but the funny thing was it still rang up the smae amount saved and everything not increased from the previous sale...so thats why I thought well maybe it was so close one right after the other that it didn't register yet, I'am hoping thats what it was, because I also purchase two of the Robitussin in different transactions, and nothing registered, as far as ECB's..
