....I'm so used to saying pop but when I lived in Virginia we would call it coke so when we moved up to Minnesota everyone said pop and we had no clue what that was. Just like they say I want to go with....and when I used to say it, I would say where I wanted to go with to.

Ok so I went to do the pepsi deal today at target. Buy 5 get $5.00 gift card. I have 1 mt dew, 2 pepsi, and 2 sierra mist 12 packs. Once they were rung up it did not prompt the cashier to issue a gift card. So I ask.. and she was like well left me ring them all as pepsi to see if it works. Still didnt. The current workaround at my store was to just take $5.00 off the current order. I am not sure if this will be the work around at all stores, or if any other store is actually having the problem.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up in case they were out trying to get the pepsi deal.

That's because the system hasn't updated the GC promotion. As long as you point it out, they will give you one. The GSTL's and LOD's should all be aware. At least they were at my Target. It's not a store-by-store problem, it's a computer malfunction.

they can give you a gift card without giving you $5 off. What they should have done is what my GSTL has done all day: scan the gift card after your transaction is completed. Then, they should go into 'discounts' and hit 'coupons' and then hit 'target coupon' and enter $5. That way, you still have the GC for later use. Either way, you got your $5 off and that is good!

I was content with the $5.00 off. I just wanted to make sure everyone was paying attention because the cashier I had didnt even notice till I said something. Luckily I am like a kid in a candy store when it comes to gift cards, so I was sitting there waiting (im)patiently and I am sure I had a look of disappointment when it didnt prompt for the card.. haha...

Went back to target this morning to do this deal again (I thought I had enough pop with just five.. but it wont last through the holidays).... anyway... they still hadnt figured out the GC thing.... I once again got $5 off my purchase.... but once again had to mention it before it took effect....

Hi,
Pepsi had a $3 man. q last week. It worked on 3 12 packs. 12 pks were $2.00 a piece. So, I was able to get 12 pk Pepsi products for $1.00 at a local grocery store!
