I had signed up for there $1 trial. It helped I think for my 1st 4 weeks of being a couponer. But now I don't think it's cost and the store lists are worth it. Do you think it's worth it? Do you use another site for free lists? Or do you match ads your self every week? Thank you for all your support and help with your idea's!! All ideas welcome here. |

Couponmom.com does several lists and its free. Harris Teeter/ Kroger/ CVS/ Walgreens/Walmart/Target etc.... Its very helpful and you can even manipulate the lists by alphabet, price % saved, coupon date and you can check items on the lists and print them off when you are done.

I have been a member of the Grocery Game for over a year and a half. I have cut my grocery bill by 60%. I think it is totally worth it. I think it pays for itself easily. Just the fact that I don't have to do all of the comparing is worth it to me. I do use couponmom.com as well for lists I don't want to pay for so they both are great sites. Good luck!

I was a member too, but found that by the time the lists are updated, I would have already figured out the deal myself. It was a good way to help me catch an eye on how to do things though!

if your list comes out on sunday - it may work - however if the sale starts sunday and the list comes out on tuesday i think you will find it does not work very well - it personally did not work for me because of that - it also had atlanta pricing and i lived in knoxville, tn so things did not match up - customer service was not much help on this issue

I have used this site since February. I have mixed feelings also. There are so many great postings on this site and so many helpful people, I tend to find it quicker to get my coupons and go especially when I'm short on time.I will also say, when I don't have the list I have overlooked alot of great deals

I have used it and think that it does help in saving some of the search time going through the ads. But, I have noticed some problems with the group deals a few times- where some of the items were not actually eligible, etc.

I was a member too, but the lists updated at the wrong time for me. Like for instance Food Lion sales come out on Wednesday, but the list wouldnt come out until Sunday, so our store was poorly stocked of the sale items by the time I could get there. I hope that made sense haha

I love GG and coupon mom, I cut back on a few stores on GG but it is worth it for your main store!, just get the trail for $1 for 4 weeks and you will be hooked.

I used GG when I was just beginning to use coupons. It was worth the $1 for the 4 week trial. I have found, now, that a lot of the information is available for free on other sites. |

Absolutely love it and well, well, well worth the tiny bit I pay for the convenience of my lists. Great boards to "lurk" on, too. Wonderful people!

Kchamplin and Adnil (what great ladies) do the same thing for most grocery stores and Target and walmart every week. Have you checked their lists? They are the same as the grocery game lists and these fine ladies do it out of the kindness of their hearts! |

I've used GG for about 2 years now and I'm completely hooked. Yes, it stinks to occasionally get to my local Kroger on Tuesday (since the list doesn't come out until Tuesday) and the sale item has already sold out. However, I've saved so much and the amount of time that I save with not having to match up the coupons myself is priceless. I work full time so I print off my list Tuesday at work and then head to the grocery store after work. It's awesome for me and I save SO MUCH MONEY!!

I've been a member of GG since the beginning of this year and I too think that it is totally worth it! Between this board and that one, I have saved so much $$$$ ![]() It is just so useful to have all the deals and coupons all lined up for you in one place and you don't have to spend time doing any of that. Like many of you ladies say, if you had the time, you could probably figure out the deals yourself, but most of us are working parents and so the GG lists take the hassle of doing it yourself. Then also, again I agree that sometimes the sales do not match up or the items are out of stock by the time the lists come out, but rainchecks are always good, and the lists sales are usually accurate or are within 1 week of the actual grocery store sales (do you know what I mean?). I definitely think that the 4 week $1 trial period is TOTALLY worth it and you should try ALL the store lists during that time since it does not cost you any extra. I also use couponmom and think that is also a great alternative, although I find less accuracy on their lists. Just my 2 cents worth......... |

I did grocery game for a while, but the one thing that always messed me up was that each list only uses each coupon once. Since I shop at 3 different stores, depending on who has the best sales, if I missed when a coupon was used, it would never show up on the list again. I loved the list, but it just didn't work for me. I still read the message boards though, great people on there!

yeah I've heard of it.I found it by mistake one night and showed pics of a huge stockpile and everyone started asking me where I got most of the stuff especially the tide.I told them cvs and that was 2 1/2 years ago. They relied on the grocery game so back then almost all of them didn't even know anything about cvs ![]() of course when I first started couponing all I thought cvs was good for was to comp the ads at walmart. I also didn't know it was a pay site.I looked into but really felt i could do better.I think at the time it was big out west and then publix everywhere. WOW,this is an older thread.

I used to use it but found the timing of their updates was bad , so I stick to AFC and Couponmom!! I have learned to find the deals myself and use these free sites and it works great. Plus as said before, the work of selfless couponers posting here really helps us out for free by posting weekly updates and deals!

i used grocery game for awhile but I think it is only truly helpful if you are going to go to whatever store it is for everyweek, like that is your only grocery store or if you have time to hit all the stores and you have a list for each. I usually just go to target b/c its all I have time for and to cvs and walgreens to get good deals there, but most good deals for those places are posted on here.
