Really, I do! I am lucky enough to have about 6 CVS stores within a 30-minute radius of my house, but my favorite is the one that is about a mile away. Everyone from the managers, to the cashiers, to the pharmacists are super friendly and pro-coupon. One of the assistant managers is especially into the whole coupon thing. Today he brought me a raincheck (while I was shopping!) because he knew they were out of one of the items. Then, as he was ringing me up, he proceeds to tell me that their store policy is that they will take ANY CVS coupons (i.e. extra bucks, CRTs or e-mail coupons) for up to 3 months after they expire. He also said that they'll take manafacturer coupons for up to 2 days after they expire. Then he tells me that it is never a problem to stack, but I can only use 1 of each code. Then for good measure he tells me about next weeks ad and opens the box and gives me a copy. It's even sweeter because earlier in the day I had another CVS tell me they won't accept internet coupons (including e-mailed coupons) because someone had committed internet fraud. Can I just say again how much I love my CVS?

Oh, and I forgot my other funny of the day. I got an e-mail back from one of the soldiers I sent a care package to this month. The first time I send them anything I explain that I am a coupon/refund addict in the first letter (mostly to explain the missing UPCs but also so they will feel more comfortable to request their favorite brands). He proceeds to tell me the following: "Your coupon addiction is welcome in our lives any day. I know it sounds bad but we support your addiction LOL." First guy that has ever told me THAT!! :-) LOL

You ARE lucky to have such a nice CVS nearby- good for you.

And as far as supporting the troops- even better for you- they so need our support and care, it is nice to hear stories like these- keep it up!

What a great way to support the troops. Did you know that you can send your expireds to overseas military families? The bx accepts 6 mo expireds at overseas bases!

I love that you are doing this- good for you! How did you get lists of individual soliders and their favorite brands?

Oh, by the way...let's hope these soldiers marry a coupon queen. You just may be grooming a very supportive husband for another coupon addict

Wendy and Jenni: Absolutely!! I was so afraid to try stacking (I was picturing people yelling "thief!") but this is my second week of doing it and they are great. I even had one guy tell me "you know, they have websites with all these coupons in case you don't get one e-mailed to you." For some reason I can't picture walgreens doing that! :-) LOL

Marbear: Thanks, but it is completely selfish...I can now justify spending 5 hours every Saturday chasing down all the best deals because "well, you know I have 9 troops I have to support!" :-) LOL It's a great way to shut people up because how do you respond to that? LOL

And TOO funny on them marrying a coupon queen...I never thought of that before but it would be HILARIOUS if it happened! Maybe they will even turn out like the hubby in the other thread and make their own deals!! :-)

I mostly use anysoldier.com to find my guys. They are listed by name, location and branch of service. They all write little blurbs about what they need (some list brands, some don't) and they have to list how many people are in their troop. Part of the agreement is that they act as contact person but have to share the packages. They also list where their troop (unit, or whatever you want to call it! :-) is from and most also say where they are from (in case you want to find a local boy or girl). If you include an e-mail address in your letter some will reply to you (though you aren't guaranteed a response). As we e-mail back and forth I ask them about brands...most are reluctant to tell you though (they don't want to seem greedy) but eventually they do. There are other websites as well, but they match you up with a soldier (you don't get to pick) and you have to agree to meet their schedule (i.e. a snail mail letter once a week, and a package once a month) or you can be dropped. The package requirement I could do, but I am bad at writing that many letters! :-) Anysoldier let's you pick your own and has no requirements on what to send or how often.

The Post Office also has a special military kit you can order by calling their 1-800 number. It's called carekit 04 and each kit has 2 different size flat rate boxes, labels, customs forms and tape. This is the only kit that includes tape (which is huge since I use tons to make sure the boxes don't split). Best of all, the kit is totally free! Now if only they would pay postage as well! :-) LOL
