After reading posts outloud and enjoying them SOOO much this week, it may have inspired my DH. He
VOLUNTEERED to go to Martha Mart (K Mart) today and do the FREE candy for Halloween!! This is WAY cool!! Will post how it goes!!

bryan was working today at the fire station but he called home and bugged me till i went and did the deal at one cvs, just one....
here goes:
2 pk ept pregnancy test (thank god that was not positive!!)
disney princess tea set
2 boxes plastic forks
box plastic spoons
2 sleaves plastic cups
1 pk dessert size paper plates
cadbury candy bar
can of good start powder formula
10 bottles of herbal essences
3 packs of girls tights (pretty good price considering this is at cvs!)
barbie movie
baby teething ring
3 pks of cvs baby wipe refills
one pack pampers wipe refills
two 2 packs of playtex sippy cups (these disappear at our house)
1 bag purina cat chow

i split this up into two orders and on the first order i used:
$15 off $75
two $10 off $50
$5 off $35
four $4 off $20
$3 off $15
two $2 off $10
$3 ecb
$10 in goodstart checks
oop $8.xx (darn i forgot to use a giftcard!)
recieved $10 in herbal essences ecbs and $3 pampers

next order used all the same coupons plus the ecb's i got back from first order and broke dead even, no oop. i thought they are suppose to charge you tax, but i am not complaining!
so over all over $160 in mrechandise for $8 thats like a 95% off sale or something.


tomorrow is that last day for all the coupons we have been stacking so bryan is just planning for spend the day going to cvs's so i will tally up all his suff and let you guys know how he did.
this is not the first time he has gone overboard on a deal. last year either staples or office depot had a $10 off $10 coupon (i think) and both stores honored it so he made many, many trips and we have hundreds of pens and office supplies still. and when kmart had the p&g battery deal, i can not even begin to describe to you the amount of ivory soap and packs of batteries we now have!
i usually do the grocery type stuff and he does the other stuff. together we are a force to be reckoned with. most people go on a date night, we get a sitter and go on a shopping night!

Ok, I could not get my DH to go get me some freaking free soyjoy bars, so there is no way I could get him to buy THOUSANDS of dollars in merchandise per week for pennies on the dollar.
