I received a Clipless Coupon card from Target about two months ago. I tried using it yesterday and it's not working. It doesn't expire until 10/29/07. Anyone else having this problem. I e-mailed Target and they have yet to respond.

They finally responded: Saying they were sorry this happened. For my inconvenience they were sending me a $5 GC. Which is better because I was only saving $1 with the clipless card.

yep, last time i got one f those i have problems with it too. it would either take off for items i didn't buy and then when i went to use it when i actually was trying to purchase those items, it had already taken it off previously

sometimes it would not work for items that i did buy and the coupon was still good for those items or other times it would cancel out other MFC or other Target Q and use the clipless instead, for example mine had $2 off purchase of $2 or more of Gerber products, well it applies it to a 85 cent item rather then the 1.99 item, which if i knew it was going to do that i would had rather used it separately first and got more off.

I know a few other ladies has mentioned some problems with theirs also.

Not sure. It just came in the mail. Hopefully I'll get another one that works. If I figure it out, I'll let you know.

Im A Cashier At Target And When I Ran Into Problems Like That, Where The Guest Obviously Has Brought The Item I Go Ahead And Manually Key In The Amount Of The Coupon So It Can Deduct The Amount. Most Of The Time When You Use The Clipless Coupon It Doesnt Tell You What Discount Was Used For What Item, So It Kinda Complicates Things When Ur Tryna Determine If The Discount Was Applied To The Item You Actually Brought Or Not Hope My Information Helped Out

TherES No Way You Can Request The Coupons, Because Im An Employee And I Didnt Even Know We Had Those Type Of Coupons Until A While Back When I Rung A Lady Up And She Had Some............i Would Like Some To And I Also Have A Redcard And No Coupons! The Only Thing I Can Suggest Is To Shop At Target Alot And Maybe THEY'LL See That You Spend Alot Of Money At Target And They'll Feel Like They Should Send You One

And The New Target Debit Card Is Just Like Your Regular Debit Bank Card, But You Can Only Use It At Target..........it Has The Same Benefits And Rewards As The Target Redcard! Maybe I should make a scene everytime I am in target.. then they will be like there is the crazy coupon lady.. and then they will give me more coupons... hmmm HAHAH

I also got one in the mail, clueless how I got one .. had the same issue.. the cashier knew I purchased ie: curel Lotion but it would not take the card coupon price ..

I dont' have a Target card but I was thinking maybe the returns ??

If your clipless didn't scan right, ask the cashier to hit the "inquiry" button and scan the coupon. It will print out a list of the clipless coupons, whether they have been used and on what date they were redeemed. You can show the cashier that it didn't apply correctly and they should fix it for you right away.

I got my first clipless coupon in the mail today too! Whoo Hoo! I don't have a red card but I almost always write a check when I'm in Target - maybe that's how they got my info..........hehe
