I got 9 jars yesterday.. husband was diagnosed with cancer this summer so we do TONS of tomato sauces (but I totally add to them, we never have straight ragu)

I'm curious...why does that mean you have a lot of tomato sauce? I am thinking either convenience, antioxidants, or maybe it is one of the few things he actually will eat (my mother would only eat garlic bologna when she got chemo). Anyway, sorry if that is nosy!

i don't see the ragu sale advertised in my circular. is it just unadvertised? can anybody verify if it is on sale in ny?

Ragu is $1.97 at my Target so I didn't buy yet. I'll check on the other one tomorrow. Tuna was .67 here while .54 at this one I'm gonna check tom so hopefully Ragu is cheaper there also.

The other Target here (in STL) has Ragu for $1.87. Not so happy that it's not as cheap as the others reported.

Well I talked to a friend and they said up the road at the target 20 minutes away the sale is not.. so I don't know if it's just my particular store or what!

We do a lot of tomato base because tomato is supposed to be one of the foods that fight cancer.. especially the more it's broken down, sauce is better than the actual tomato at fighting cancer so that's why And he is able to eat it more... radiation kind of screwed up his stomach for a few weeks there.. He's doing great right now.. we are just getting ready to do a treatment called interferon, not fun, but we will get through it

The SuperTarget near me had them regularly priced at $1.54, with the traditional flavor *price cut* to $1.25. (If your store doesn't have any signs up, you might try scanning the traditional just to check.)

Mine had them priced at $1.57 but they scanned at $1.74. This is the first time I have had something scan wrong at Target. Any idea on what the policy is if something scans wrong? Is it like Walmart and Kroger(It's free) or is it strictly price difference?

I was at SuperTarget today and the small bottles of Ragu were 75cents a piece. With just the coupon it makes them free.

Target does not have pricing acuracy rules like Kroger. I have tried before and they will send someone and if the dates on the sale price are still correct they will just do it for that price.

They are, I think the sale ends on Saturday. At my Target it appeared that it is not only the red sauce, but also the Alfredo and other cheese sauces as well. Yummy!!

My target had them on for $1.69...not a super deal, but much cheaper than buying them elsewhere.

Just checked at my Target last night and they were $1.72! And of course this was after I came in the front door, hit the computer kiosk and printed about a million coupons! Literally, I clicked the two coupons I wanted, and when the screen came up with the clipped ones on it, I hit the print button a million times hoping to get a couple of copies before it went away (that's how I remember it happening before!) and all of a sudden there was blue paper streaming out of this machine and I could barely catch it fast enough! I told Emma (my DD who was with me) that she had coloring paper for a long time!

Not sure why they are not on sale at all stores. In Sunday's paper Super target had a 1/2 page ad in the middle of the paper and the Ragu was advertised as $1.00. I have been to two stores in my town and they both have it on sale.

I bought the 1 pound 10oz size jars at My local regular target was the old world style or something like that, on sale for $1

I used the .75/1 target coupon combined with the .50/2 MC that was in some inserts not long back.

So Mine were free.

I think I had that treatment years ago, is it to raise hematacrit (iron) levels? if it is the same tell him to start taking some calcium, it gave me serum sickness which is like 50 kinds of arthritis at once ouch
