Does anyone know how to find out if you can buy ahead of time then return to the store on black friday for a benefit of sale? I'm looking at Target and TRU in particular.

It is said that you can purchase items at Target before then price adjust black friday, but not with the doorbuster items. Someone else mentioned that it seems that 3/4 of the ad is doorbuster items.

Many items are ordered JUST for BF so if you go now you wont have the exact model to buy. Therefore no pricematch on BF

I did the TV last year at Target, but I check the model number and serial number to be sure it matched word and number for number and got back my $200 on BF during the sale hours-- the Price adjustment isn't DOORBUSTER...the DOORBUSTER is for Price matching with other stores. Such as this firday is TRu has a sale 9-1 they will not price match those sales--- Also Wal-mart is notorious for the "exclusive serial numbers on BF" and if you look at the Sears policy they price match and adjust...just FYI I didn't know that till this year so it may be worth looking into Sears: Online department store featuring appliances, tools, fitness equipment and more depending on what stores you have near or far to you...they will even do ONLINE price adjustments for 14 days....hmmmm pretty good heh!
