This week at CVS they have another Blood Glucose Monitoring System special (Contour Meter from Bayer) - buy 1 at $14.99 get $14.99 ECB....I've been waiting to try one of these deals so that I can have ECB to start rolling with!...my question: The coupon I have says FREE CONTOUR Meter from Beyer when you present your prescription for a Blood Glucose Monitoring System!! Do they actually check for this??? I don't NEED the system (was going to donate it) I just want the ECB to start rolling!! THANKS for the help!!

If it says a prescription is required then I would assume that you would need the script. The reason they probably did this is because of the One Touch Ultra Mini's where people were going in and getting several and weren't diabetics.

This is my first post so I'm hoping I'm doing it right! I bought the Glucose Metor today and did not need a prescription. However, it did have a manufacter's rebate in it!!! So not only did it help me get my ECB, gained some extra $$ with the $4 off $20 coupon, but I also will be getting a rebate back!!

what i am thinking is that for the cvs ecb you dont need a prescription but to use the coupon you have you might need a prescription to get it totally free and get the ecb..

i bought one today and in the box there is a rebate form for up to $50 dollars so even if you cant use the all you mag one then you can use the one in the box!

My Sunday paper came with a coupon for $30 off this Bayer Meter, can I use it and get the meter and still get the ECB's?

I would say yes, all they have to do is adjust the price of the coupon to $14.99, so you would get it free and the ECB's should print right out!

I had some of the $30 coupons and took advantage of that today!! $14.99 printed ECB per purchase (different cards) and I got back more than $60 ECBs!!!!!!

I got the monitor today, used the coupon that said I had to have a script (which I didn't, but the cashier and manager pushed it thru anyway) and got my ECBs! So I got it free, then got $14.99 ECBs. I was so happy it worked that way.

Are you sure you didn't get the Breeze instead of the countour? That is what I did...so no ECBs.

I went back to exchange it and they had no more of the contours...so they returned it and put $60 on a gift card....since that is what the coupon was credited for.
Crazy that they did that...but I'm not gonna complain...I didn't ask for that, and I REALLY got the wrong one by mistake...the manager even had to come over to authorize that and said that is what the do for coupons since they get reimbursed.

coupon is from All you magazine or some inserts...but there is also a printable one on the website for the meter

$4/$20 is on the sticky thread on the 1st page in the cvs forum

Does anyone have an extra coupon (SS or All You) that they are looking to trade? I tried to buy this today (unfortunately at the pharmacy because they were in a locked case) but it rang up at full price. The pharmacist told me that to get it for $14.99 you had to send in the $50 rebate and that any ECB I get would print out in 3-4 days. After arguing with her to no avail, I didn't get the meter and apparently left my coupon...I got a raincheck at another store, but can't find a coupon.

Well I think the clerk used her ECB card. because she marked the coupon as 30 not 14.99 and I didnt get any ecbs the registry beeped and another clerk came over the one doing the checkout said have you got your card to this clerk, then they used her card and my receipt printed I said wheres my ecbs they said you will have them in 48 hrs, My receipt does have the last for digits of my card. so whats this about waiting 48 hrs to check your ecbs?
