Hey, just wanted to let you know the 50 percent off coupon in the circular WILL work with Thomas. Normally they put Thomas on slight discount when a 50 percent off coupon rolls out so you cannot get the items for more than 40 percent off, but this time they either overlooked that or are being generous. I got two trains for 10.99 plus tax (two transactions). This is great if you need to purchase big items!

I used my 50% off yesterday for a set of two that we'd been looking for. I expected to be denied when I went to register but it worked! Which I had bought another paper just for the coupon!

Marbear- did you see that Target is having a sale on Thomas stuff that starts tomorrow? $4 for certain trains and then a % off everything else. These are the Take and Go ones.

I only just discovered that Michaels carries Thomas. Thanks for the heads up on the "slight discount" so you can't use 50% coupon since I have been planning on using whatever coupons I can from now until Christmas just for Thomas stuff. This way I won't be so shocked if my plan doesn't pan out. Though I was able to use 50% over labor day. yay!

I believe that lou12341 is correct. Some of the Thomas engines have been recalled. PLEASE make sure you check the government site to see if any toys you may already have are recalled due to lead paint! I would hope that Michaels wouldn't be selling engines that are recalled!
