| Question on the baby items with $5 GC
I was trying to buy 2 Enfamil 9-24mos formula and 2 Size 18mos Gerber Onesies and was unsuccessful. I expected to get 2 $5 GC but failed on both. It didn't prompt the cashier so I asked her to check the ad. She called a supervisor (don't know what you call them, CSM, ETL ???). First, she told me I had to buy one of each. I asked her to read again it said "when you buy 2 of any of the 3 items". Ok then she checked the oz. I got 24 oz formula. It said 16-25.7oz so I passed. But what I'm buying are not $24 but $21 so she said it won't work. Then the Gerber ones didn't ring up at $8 but $9.89 so she said that won't work either. It was taking so long and I didn't want to argue so I said I won't take them. Has anybody tried buying these items? Any luck? Should I to go to a different Target and try again? |

Even when the situation call for me to take the guests side in that situation (like a software error) I am powerless to give the GC . I usually give a couple of apolagy coupons away totaling 6 bucks , they are like GC's. |

The yellow onesies weren't working for the prompts yesterday. Hopefully they have that fixed by now.

Thanks for the reply. I did read the fineprint so I know the items I was buying are included except that the price was different. Quote:
Oh well if I can't get the GC then I won't really buy them. I have 2 $5 checks as well but I'll just use those for the ready to feed cans. I found the Target brand formula is only half the price. Maybe my son won't notice the difference. |

I'm not sure if this is the best thread to post this, but to help with this special, there are $2.50/2 onesie coupons on the Gerber website. I haven't tried them yet to know if they work, but if they do, it's a bonus!

I tried the gerber onsies the other day and at first they didnt work. I bought the yellow pack. The first checked to make sure it was the 5 pack and it was. The cashier then read the ad and called a manager. She was like must be wrong in the computer. So she took the yellow pack back off and rang up the other pack I had purchased. So on the receipt it looked like I purchased two of the same pack. Then it prompted for the GC and I was good to go. Happy shopping! Lynsey |

| Yup I actually had that with me but the ones I was buying ring up at $9.89 so I figured even with that it won't be a good deal and I wasn't getting the GC.

| The regular 25.7oz is $24 at the Target I went to and the 24oz Good Start 2 for 9-24mos is $20.99. On the fineprint for GC it says 25.7oz Good Start so must be any kind that's 25.7oz.

I had the same problem yesterday and I bought 2 packs of the onesies. It rang up at regular price and there wasn't even a sale sign or something by the stuff. I showed the cashier the ad and instead of him giving me a gift card, he gave me a $5.00 coupon that I could use on the purchase.

Not bad, at least you still got $5 off. No luck for me again on the GC. My son doesn't really need more onesies and he's fine with any brand of formula. I'll just let it go. Off topic...Walmart has some ready to feed Similac 1QT bottles on clearance for $3. I bought 5 and used 3 $5 checks so I got them for free! |
