I see Target has Big-Pack Swaddlers (and others) on "sale" for $19 but that sounds like a normal price for them. I am not sure that I know which box they are talking about though.. Anyone know how many diapers in a Big-Pack for a size 2?

You get a $5 GC WYB two. I guess that at least makes it a luke-warm deal.

There are 96 diapers in a "Big Pack" of size 2 Swaddlers diapers. So with the $5 GC on 2 boxes, the deal is $33. So that is $0.17 a diaper, which is below the magic 20 cents per diaper number.

BTW- There was a deal on Pampers at Walmart - $7.87 per Jumbo pack. The deal was supposed to go until 9/17 (based on their online ad). But, for some reason, the price has been increased by $1, to $8.87. That is so frustrating. Did anyone else notice this? -Kim

I don't think this is a great deal. Also, as far as the magic number, you really have to look at the size you are buying. 20 cents a diaper would be an amazing price for size 6, but I wouldn't pay anything close to that for size 1 or 2. I did the walmart 7.87 deal (cleaned them out with $1 coupons). I went to another walmart that afternoon and the price had shot up to $9.54. This was Friday. I have really gotten the best deals waiting for deals at cvs and then using coupons AND $4 off $20 coupons. I love when P & G rebate time rolls around, too!

The thing I hate about big packs is you don't get a lotta bang for your coupon buck...same thing with big sizes of formula.

the big packs at target are normally $21-$28 depending on the stage... so 19 would be good. it would have been even better when we had those 3/1 coupons to use with the free kandoo but its all good. i'm stocked up for now so no need to jump on a deal like this... i've seen way better and i, too, like cvs now more because i pay next to nothing while using their email coupons.. even without manuf. coups

Marbear- I always use coupons for diaper purchases. In fact, I used a $2.00 off Huggies and $1.50 off Pampers along with the Target deal. So, in reality, I paid a little more than 15 cents per diaper - not bad!

I am a newbie, can you tell me what the $4 off $20 is, and where one obtains the coupon? Thanks- Kim

I got pampers for about $5/pack at cvs (factoring in all I had spent to get the extra care bucks and factoring that I had coupons) then it gave me another $4 for $20 off baby items so I went in with more coupons and got the for about $5 a pack. I'm really digging the cvs thing...I'm new to it, too. Check out that forum for printables of some of the $4 off $20 and sign up at cvs.com for email alerts and they will email you one.
