Hi Everyone,

I read about this deal on another board and thought I would post it on AFC because I didn't see it here yet.

A can (not pouch) of Starkist tuna is regularly priced at $0.59 at Target. Using the $0.50 off Target coupon, you can get each can for $0.09 (yes, 9 cents) each! I just bought 9 cans of CHUNK WHITE TUNA IN WATER for less than a $1. WOW! They also have CHUNCK LIGHT for $0.59. I usually prefer the pouches for convenience, but at 9 cents each - I'll gladly squeeze the can with a smile

Just purchased 4 cans @17 cents each! Cashier had trouble scanning coups, she had to manually enter them. Also crest tartar control toothpaste with free travel size included was marked down to $1.90- $1.00 off coup from this weekend it is only .90. Johnsons & Johnsons ( the big bottles) are on sale 2/6, use (2) $1.00 off printabe coups and they are only 2.00 each.

I think Miss Molly may be the ONLY cat in the whole world who sticks her nose up at tuna! The ONLY cans/pouches she would even consider licking the "goodies" off were chicken - and now she won't even do that. She won't touch TREATS either - or "people food." I went to the closest Target and the tuna is $0.67. I was trying to buy 5 but they limited me to 3. Then the next day I went to another Target and Starkist is only $0.54 there. I bought 8 no problem. I was thinking of returning the 3 that I bought first but they might think I'm too cheap so I'll just keep them. Good thing they limited me to 3 hehe.

Get the new All You mag at Walmart - there are some good q's including a $1/1 q for Starkist pouch tuna. Combined with the target .50/1 q & I got a 7 oz- big -pouch of tuna for .07!

I can't find it either! This sure sounds like a great deal! We don't eat much tuna but soon the kids' schools will have food drives and we can donate these. I read that some people were having trouble getting the coupons to show up--maybe that's what's happening to some of us?

I noticed that the tuna coups - in fact all the 9/29 coups are gone from the generator.

Not sure why. But they are.

Do you get any hassles for buying the can - when the picture on the coupon is the pouch? I know the cashiers tend to think the picture is what they go by with the coupon!

I did not have any problems buying the can, but the $1 off pouch coupon from the All You magazine (available ONLY at Wal Mart) used with the .75 Target coupon is a really good deal also.

I'm glad you asked this question because I had a problem in the past using a Target coupon when the packaging pictured on the coupon was different (it was the Target flavored sparkling water and the coupon pictured a 4-pack so they wouldn't let me use it for singles even though the coupon didn't specify a size/amount). I was afraid to go off of what was pictured but maybe it was just the cashier's mistake?

I had no troubles buying the can. Bought 6 for $.09/each! Great deal!

I bought 10 today no problem the cashier asked me if I liked tuna I said no but at .14 a can my cat loves it..

Of course in NY everything Target sales is more...But for .14 its cheaper than 9 lives
