Thanks for the info Deal Scout! Do you know if this is working at all Safeway affiliated stores? Tom Thumb specifically? Also my sales ad in the DFW area says limit one offer per household which I took to mean that it is tracked by my Reward card. How can you do more than one deal (unless you have more than one card)?

At this time there are several different deals for the POST CEREAL at Safeway-family of stores.

This thread, we are in right now, is about very SPECIFIC 4 varieties of Post Cereal (Honeycomb, Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Pebbles & Bamm Bamm Berry Pebbles).

There is NO limit per person/household/card or otherwise - on these 4 varieties. All 4 are on sale for $2.50 (at Safeway). There are 2 catalina offers. Combine sale + catalinas + mfr cps + store cps = hot deal.
The ending date for everything is 09/09/07: sale, catalinas, mfr cps, they all were planned by manufacturer to end on 09/09/07

I do not have access to TomThumb stores this week.
Please check online (if available) or in YOUR store - about the exact sale prices in your area. The thing about $2.50 is NOT in current weekly ad.
It was in sale ad a week or 2 ago. The sale continues thru 9/9/7 without ad reminders. Clear as mud?

My ad for NOW WEEK, also states "limit 1".

"I see", said the blind man! OK, I will try the deal you mentioned above and see if it works for me here in DFW. It can't hurt because we like this cereal. The ad I have is one that came in the Sunday paper and it does not mention anything about getting catalinas at all so this was new to me. Thanks for the explanation.

quera, I may be able to help some. The ad we have from the sunday paper is to get 4 boxes for $6 which is alot better than the sale Deal Scout is talking about, but there is a limit of 1 per household to get them for 4/$6. Sometimes the limits apply automatically at the register, sometimes not. Now, if it doesn't work a second time, I'm not sure what the regular price is, if it's the norm $4 a box or whatever, just do it once. Not sure if we have the sale here or not of $2.50 a box. Much better deal at CVS for I think $1.77 a box and if you have coupons even better, there are $1/2 and different free milk coupons. I'm going sometime today so lets post what we find out. Altho the 4/$6 ends today. Check the catalina advertisements, the coupon strip that prints at the register. I do have one that explains the post catalina deal.

according to my wallet, the after catalina price of $1.25 per box @ Safeway,
is MUCH better than $1.77 at CVS

both stores accept mfr cps = same difference there

as far as for the milk: with-the-Post-cereal-FREE-milk-coupon we get "O Organic" Brand at Safeway, and it totally rocks! The best store-bought organic milk in the whole of USA. CVS does not sell that brand

Oh, I should have clarified, I don't use money at CVS. I pay with their coupons or ECB, so no out of my pocket money.
