Does anyone have a code to get the Star for cheaper than 1.75? I need to renew my subscription and don't want to pay that much!

I don't have a code. About 2 months ago I was in the same situation after having had it for 99 cents for 26 weeks. I usually just tell them I want to cancel and get the Pioneer Press instead and they offer me some type of deal. This past time it was a lot harder. I even said I would think about it and called back thinking another rep might offer me more. The best I could do was $1.59 guaranteed for "life" if I agreed to put it on the EZ Pay system. Not as good as I like, but still better than the $2.05 per issue that was on my renewal bill. Hopefully someone else might have a code....

DAng - last year they had a special $26 for 52 weeks - YES .50 a week! I received my renewal bill in March, and to my surprise - it was for the same $$$. YAY! Maybe call and see if they have that promo?
