a little disappointed

HI
I have been lurking and learning so much about saving. Here is what I bought and why I am mad (yes, I am mad over a few cents)

The mustard was $1.02 when I thought it would be $0.84. Well, I got that for 27 cents instead of 9 cents.

Then I went to get baby food I wanted the small containers not the cereal . I planned use the Gerber (DHA only) coupon $2/4 and I had two of them plus the $1/2 coupon. They were supposed to be on sale, but the DHA ones were not, so I could not take advantage of the sale plus the coupons for those. I still got cereal though for $0.50 a container. I still got 2 cereals and mustard for $1.27. Not bad. Next time I plan to make a larger trip.

I do have a question though. Can you only use the coupons on this site one at a time because the bar code numbers are the same?

Also how often do you shop? I can see this getting relly obsessive and living at Target.
TIA

You know - with the dha food containers, you're still getting a better deal than the sale when you use the $2/4 coupon. They cost $.27 each, where as the stage 2 two packs end up costing $.38 a pack with the coupon............

There are two sizes of mustard. The 8oz one is the one that is $.84. The 14oz. is the one that is $1.02.........

You can use several of the same coupon at the same time. Just make sure to go to a young cashier, preferably male. I made the mistake of going to an older woman today (I just had the feeling she'd be crotchety) and she was mad that she had to sell me my MP waters for $.09 each.........even called the manager over despite the fact I told her I had 20 bottles at home in the fridge that I had no problems with any of my coupons for........I promised her on my way out the door that I'd never bother her by getting in her line again............she probably thought I was the biggest bi*&h but that's ok...........I was in a mood and she didn't help at all.......

There is a coupon on the generator for sparkling flavored water $.50 off, it doesn't specify what size if you get a single bottle it is $.59. Just make sure your 13yr old doesn't open it right away when he gets home and splatter it all over the counter not knowing how to stop the foaming spray!

What else can you get really cheap with the target coupons. I know about the .9 mustard, .2 baby food, .25 Frito's anything else I'm missing? I hadn't made the connection with the .59 sparkling water.

My target experiences have been good up until today. All this time I have been using at $1.00/2 manufacturer coupon for the gerber graduate food and then the $1.00/2 Target coupon for the any 2 gerber foods. They had been working fine until I got 22 gerber graduate products and tried to use 11 manufacturer coupons and 11 target coupons since corporate states you can use the target and manufacturer coupon on the same item. I tried to explain that to the cashier and she said that is like doubling a coupon and they couldn't do that. I stated that corporate says you can use one target and one manufacturer coupon on the same item, and she still proceeded to argue with me. I told her I have done it there before and she said they are not allowed to do that. I told her to take everything off and that I didn't want any of it. She could have cared less.

So therefore, there are some good and bad times at target. For me, the good out way the bad, but when you get the bad, it really irritates me. I think they need to educate their cashiers a little better.

I agree that sometimes we have good days, sometimes not. When I shop at one of my Target, I usually go to a woman in her 30's or 40's I think, and she is very helpful, and always accept all my coupons.. However I don't have luck with younger male cashier, probably because they don't know what to do when the coupon beeps.
anyway, good job on you guys who have gotten so many baby food and cheap food..
